i am trying to determine what the number of roulette spins would be the "break even" point mathematically (or as close to .5 as possible) for spins without a 0 or 00 showing (or without any 2 given numbers showing i suppose)...can anyone help?

Let n be the answer.

0.5 = (36/38)^n
Log(0.5) = n*log(36/38)
n = log(0.5)/log(36/38)
n = 12.82

Rounding up, the probability of no 0 or 00 in 13 spins is (36/38)^13 = 49.52%.

Actually, according to Wiktionary, the collective term for wizards is an argument. So, it would be an argument of wizards. It does not list a term for wizzes. I still like council.

There are not many nouns that end in a z, but one that does is kibbutz. According to en.wiktionary.org, the plural of kibbutz is kibbutzim or kibbutzes.

By that logic, the plural of wiz might be wizim or wizes.

It actually says it in the image description, but I knew it before I read that, being a regular at that location and a big fan of the $2 breakfast buffet price for locals (reg price 16.99). The girls always made me 'nervous'. (especially the one that was pointing). lol

What was the mean number of extra seconds it took to get a stream going before the pointing woman? It was probably about five in my case. While I appreciated the sense of humor, it did always freak me out a little. Never did get used to it.

I actually started using the stalls. You are right...even though just pictures, it was a little freaky and distracting.

I knew I posted about it somewhere a couple years ago. I wasn't sure if it was here or not. I don't think I posted a picture though. I would be a little nervous about taking pictures in the men's room. That's the kind of thing that can lead to fisty-cuffs. lol Apparently Mike isn't as concerned with that.

For what it's worth, the plural of "fez" is either "fezzes" or "fezes."

You could go with "Wizardrim" but that's only plural if you're thinking Hebrew. If you were thinking Lord of the Rings, "Wizardrim" would mean "the men from Wizard." See e.g., Haradrim or Rohirrim.

Of course, not; as I pointed out.

Why not? http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Wizards'_Council .

For the word wiz, the actual plural sounds with es, and requires another z to avoid the (obsolete) adjective wize. No big deal. Certainly no need to seek out other languages. Who knows where that might lead. Oh, wait, on to urinals. Lol.
