Mayweather is also long past his prime, hasn't fought in a long time, seems busier promoting the fight than training for it and is of dubious character. If he wins, he has no more paydays, but if he loses........
I wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole. I have no idea where I will be on fight night, but I absolutely know what I won't be doing.

Not me. I'm saving my money for Brock Lesner vs John Jones. That should be interesting.

That would be the 2nd worst fight in UFC history, behind Forest Griffin and Anderson Silva. The match-up is HORRIBLE. Lesner has a glass chin and jones has length on him to just hit it from a far. The fight would NOT last more than one round unless jones decided not to beat him instantly.

If it's free money, the odds should not matter to you. However, I think the windows are open at -500 up to -650 as we read....and, well, it's not free until after the fight but free is free so step up. Cheers mate.

I have action on the fight... don't worry.

Mayweather is a sure thing....like no safety in the Super Bowl right?

Funny enuogh, I'd put them at 'about' the same line, with perhaps mayweather being a bigger favorite even... but about the same. You're just watching the game going "no safety, no safety..." just like the fight "no knockout, no knockout." Then you win.

I have 450 in action so far on mcg with soopoo. . Anyone else interested?

Would you give me the same -450 line you're giving SOOPOO for Floyd? What odds are you wanting for mcg?

anybody who thinks mcgregor has some kind of halfway decent chance to win is basically disrespecting the sport of boxing...

Eh, I wouldn't go that far. Anyone who respects combat sports and fighting in general MUST respect the ability for anyone to knock anyone out, at any time... Especially at these levels. That being said, I agree that my money is on Floyd.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

another point. mcgregor knocked people out with his feet and hands. now he can't use his feet. and when he knocked people out with his hands his hands were covered with these little ass gloves. now his hands are going to be covered by some big ass boxing gloves. its a world of difference.

What happens if you kick the other boxer? I assume a DQ, at least if it was a good kick....perhaps a penalty if it was a light one?

If McGregor values his life, he'll just kick Mayweather hard enough to get DQ'd 10 seconds into the round 1, but not hard enough to piss him off.

One punch KOs are actually pretty uncommon at the top levels in boxing, especially outside of the HW division.

Marquez got Manny. Marquez is also a HOF boxer and a master tactician who spent months planning. Benard Hopkins got Oscar with a body shot. A middle weight hall of famer, fighting a guy who started out an 84 pounds or something,

Not too many other examples. Most guys at this level are too polished to expose themselves and too tough to be stopped so easily.

Connor doesn't have great power by boxing standards. Only in the kiddy pool.

Plus, MMA is still a young sport. While it is eclipsing boxing in many countries today, 10-15 years ago they were still fighting for relative chump change. Guys like Jones dominate on athleticism because the athleticism still isn't as good as established, global sports. It will be eventually (well, maybe not, because as the sport is truly breaking, we are learning too much about concussions), but it isn't yet.

Anywho, Connor ain't knocking anybody out. The idea that he could KO even someone a notch or 2 lower, say Jeff Horn (the guy who Manny just got robbed against) or Jessie Vargas is kind of silly.

Almost all of my money will be bet with bookies but I'm happy to make some prop bets vs. cash.

e.g. if Connor wins 3 rounds, I will shave my head and give my flowing head of blonde and red highlighted hair to some lucky cancer patient. If someone is willing to put up cash on the other side.

Hmmm. Maybe we can get a pool goin'.

Just so the stakes are clear, here is the hair in question.

It's probably like 2 feet long or so. Halfway down my back, in any case.

A local casino is having a drawing with two barrels, one for Mayweather and one for McGregor, and they'll pick 10 $250 fp winners out of the barrel of whoever wins. Tempting to be in the long shot barrel, but this fight is a joke isn't it.
Looks like sh!t just got imaginary!
