It would be difficult to make $120k a year consistently if all you were doing was vulturing.

Yeah, checking Ultimate X for multiplier's ain't going to get you 6figures per yr, every year.
In Vegas, you have to work in teams to make the big $$$.
I heard a chinese team of 5 makes $300k/yr each on the Strip.

I would assume they are doing more than vulturing if they are pulling down $1.5 million.

Is it possible they are vulturing must hits? I know of an Asian team in AC that vultures ten and sixteen grand must hits. They will alert their members when a machine is close and someone will sit it out for hours. When they get tired they make a phone call and switch people. I'm talking about both playing and waiting behind someone who is playing past their desirable point.

And you can make even more money by being a representative for Herbalife. Anyone who has to recruit a team has an incentive to inflate the income potential of working for that team. I only know what I earn gambling. Believing anyone else's unverified claims of success is just naive.

You cannot get blood from a stone. If teams are fighting over the chance to play $16K slots, nobody is ever going to find the game in a state with an expected value much over a few hundred dollars. I suppose that Vegas might be different in that you might see some uninformed gambler with a big bankroll play River Dragons from $4870 to $4950 and then just walk away.

I have had paid watchers sit behind me until 6 in the morning or whenever I hit the jackpot. I try to tell them I am never going broke and I am not leaving the seat unless I have a heart attack. It doesn't matter. They have been assigned a job watching me, and they cannot leave until they can report that the jackpot is hit.

What I really would like to know is how international casinos handle vultures and AP of all sorts? Like, one of my pet theories on BlackJack is that there are enough casinos in the world that don't necessarily share information on AP teams that you could "attack" a group of casinos in one area for a while, making $100k+ then move on to the next group for a few weeks, etc. and just do this as a worldwide tour over the span of a couple years. In theory you're going to be getting to the multi-million dollar profit level, where you invest that money into any of the normalized ways millionaires invest their money into passive streams and then you retire to wherever you want. Any more AP opportunities you take on will just be gravy on top of what you've made.

But there doesn't seem to be anyone that's ever done this, so maybe there are some weird logistical issues with it. Obviously maintaining a rotating visa is likely an issue, as well as standing out as a foreigner in many locales. Gambling laws could also be stricter overseas.

Plenty of people have played BJ around the world and many people have written about their journeys. They have written about how hard it is to move money around, to convert money, and to get foreign funds back home. They have been cheated, robbed, and threatened. Anyone who is smart enough, ambitious enough, and sufficiently capitalized can make millions closer to home.

By the way, a team cannot retire in luxury after making $2M before taxes. To even think about this, the team has to have a half million to start off.

In regards to the cat and mouse dance between AP's and casinos, the same forces are in play wherever in the world you are.

I've explored slots in a handful of countries. Some have terrible slots with few AP opportunities to be found. Some have great opportunities and local AP competition to contend with. I've been to a couple of countries where most or all casinos are owned by the same provider, and you have to have a membership card to enter their premises, so your records will be shared between them.

Nowhere is perfect, but if you're prepared to move around there are loads of opportunities out there.
