If we're talking about someone who hasn't hit his point and just keeps tossing them dice then I turn em off after about 7 rolls. When/if the point hits then I'm back on. Keep in mind that I'm good with double my initial play.

I've learned in all the years of playing craps is to "Never take down bets when the hot shooter keeps making them.

a) Hot shooter = Press your bets up.
b) Cold table = take your bets down after a couple hits or bet less.
8 more years till retirement.
