Welcome to WOV! :D What is the Minimum bet to play Craps In the Casinos you play at? In my Craps App, it is a $5 Minimum bet, but I have never attempted to play Craps In real life. About losing $1,000 on really bad Don't Come and Field bets, why not try to ONLY play the 2 dice option? That gives you 30 times your bet according to my Craps App
. And if you have $5 minimum and $100 you can do 20 spins before you lose all your money. Hopefully at least one roll is a $150 win within those 20 spins. Highest Ranking Members and both Lower Ranking Members, am I giving her bad Craps advice? I think my advice is pretty solid, but feel free to tell me if this is actually bad advice.

And an hour later....

Once again, does anyone want to tell me if I gave her bad Craps advice? I would really love to know.

Half hour after that...

Thank you for your honesty. :) I tend to give bet advice that can net you the most money, not necessarily the best odds. ;)

7 Days for hijacking. The thread was not about you until you took it over.

And yes, terrible advice steering her to just about the worst odds on the table. At least you admit you haven't played, which is a miniscule improvement. STOP GIVING RANDOM ADVICE ABOUT GAMBLING HERE! Keep it in your corner if you must.

Edit: ok, 7 is too long. Hopefully 3 will get the point across.

While Nathan's comments may be amusing, I don't know how this forum is putting up with her and her type of comments which are often baseless and almost always no value to the thread.

This is the Wiz's decision. He has decided the amusement factor outweighs the garbage factor. The mods hide behind 'you can block a user' but that makes the threads unintelligible. People respond to the blocked user and you have no idea what they are talking about. BBB specifically warned Nathan about the giving of inane advice, which can be misconstrued by a new member as advice based in logic. Nathan ignored BBB.

Seems every time I bet Don't Come, the shooter either 7's out, yo's, or makes his point and has an opportunity to throw a 7-winner.
If I'm making a 2nd Don't Come bet to put up a 2nd point, the shooter usually 7's out and I get a push on my 2 bets.

I wouldn't play the field unless I was rolling and intending to shoot craps numbers a bunch of times, much like I intend to throw 7's on the come-out but craps shows up anyway.

I don't mean to be rude, but why are you giving me Craps advice? I play Craps in real life and would know more about it than you do. You yourself mentioned you have never played Craps in real life, you have only played a Craps App. No offense, but I honestly think only people who have at least tried the Craps at least once in real life should be giving Craps advice.

you are quite correct. The 'buzz' of a real casino's live game action is a major element. Music. waitresses, players calling out from the other end of the table, dealer chatter, etc. can all be distracting influences. its part of the fun and I often judge a table by the camaraderie factor.

You'll find my posts if you look at my history tend to be impulsive at times, plus I have a penchant for giving gambling advice based on what is the better payout rather than the better odds.

Knowing is the first step. Why don't you stop giving gambling advice on things you're not an expert on? We frequently get new members here who are both novice and knowledgeable. They won't know who you are, may take your advice for face value, and get turned off by the WOV site. We may be losing future valuable members due to your bad, unsolicited advice. If I were a new member and one of the first things I saw was your craps advice, I'd run for the hills.

Can you provide an example of a bad odds/good payout type of play ?

You'd be wise to rethink your "penchant" for offering ANY advice. Which I have repeatedly asked you to do (as have other people). Just stop it.

You're continuously asking how to contribute here, or how to fit in better. It would go a long way on both of those if you were to stop. I wish you could see that the person you hurt the most with this garbage advice is the Wizard, your good friend.

I fully expect you to ignore me, as you have the last 30 times I've told you this in one form or another. But I'm nothing if not persistent.
