I didn't read every post before mine but, besides the obvious to taking or laying full odds, you can do 100X at the Crowmwell. The last time I was there the Freemont was paying triple on the field 12. You can probably find triple on the 2 and 12 field in the local casinos.

In terms of atmosphere, just find the one the fits you. The prices of the drinks while you're playing are all the same :-)
