I used Bitcoin to finally try out Bovada and their craps game. I bought in for $150 this morning and playing very conservatively, am now up to $340. I don't see anything negative about their system yet but I don't know what type of system they use, or whether or not it is legit.

Anyone else play craps at Bovada? I'm leary with putting large wagers down for online systems. But, maybe that's just me not being too trustworthy with anything I can't really see firsthand.

One would think asking about the validity of a site/software would happen before depositing/playing =P.

Also, try betting more than a couple bucks, see how "unlucky" you run then lol. I'm not biased against any site... just all online sites. I used to think Bovada was at least the most reputable out of all, but even I've had my issues with them over the years, and now it seems more are springing up with cash outs/etc.

...try to cash out... report back.

Since craps is a negative expectation game, and other than getting lucky you can't/won't beat it. So even if it was completely random I can't see any good reason I would play craps online unless they had a good promo or allowed you to finish the bonus wagering requirements on it.

Playing craps online is extra -EV.
1) You have no way to tell if it is random. So If you are someone that believes they have some magic craps system, when you lose you will blame the RNG and think it's rigged(I think most RNG are rigged online). Even if it's not rigged, God forbid your system actually fails, it must be rigged.

You said, "I don't see anything negative about their system yet" As if you could tell if there was something wrong so fast. Had you not been up money you would have probably said it's rigged.

2) Oftentimes there are extra fees involved with online gambling.

3) You run the risk of not getting paid.

4) There may be some legal issues.

5) your money is tied up and oftentimes you have to jump through hoops to get it.

I'm not against online gambling, there are some good opportunities that make it worthwhile. It can be fun and convenient. It's especially fun when travelling or killing time during boring situations.

I have a feeling you will end up not liking the online craps once it turns on you.

I noticed many people who have systems don't like or trust RNG's(even the ones in legitimate casinos.) I believe this is mainly because everything happens faster and oftentimes they become more impulsive. They can play double or triple the amount of hands they normally would on a live game. The more hands they play the better chance they have to lose. Again they blame everything but their flawed system.

I got up to $506 today after depositing only $150. I never went down on any of the 5 mini sessions I played. Doesn't really matter if it's a negative EV game if you are winning.

I just tested a $300 withdrawal back to my bitcoin wallet. It says should be processed in 48 hours. We'll see how it goes. At this point I doubled my money and tested bitcoin deposits/withdrawals. And, I have another $200 to play around with.

Sure it does. If you keep playing -EV you will eventually lose. You are just on a lucky run now. Evntully you will run bad and there will be nothing you can do about it unless you stop gambling for good. You can try some kinda stop loss BS. but it wont work. You can come back the next day, the next week, the next year, but that bad run will be there just waitng for you.

I have an Idea, record your Bovada craps sessions for us, perhaps we can learn somthing (block out your name and account number.)

That's the wonderfull thing about online play. Evryone can record it with a desk top reorder, get records and evidance to show their claims are truthfull.

I think Bovada even logs the type of games played, deposits and withdrawls.

Now I'm just testing their withdrawals to see if they come through and if they do, I'll keep playing with the $200 that is essentially theirs. Like I said, I've already doubled my own money with the withdrawal.

Yes, you are winning a lot now. Heck, you may always win a lot. Someone else may lose your share and lose all the time. Just because you are winning doesn't mean anything but you are on the good side of the numbers; it doesn't indicate some skill level absent in everyone else. I don't think anyone doubts your winning sessions though they may doubt that there aren't just about as many winners as losers because that is how it plays out for most of us.

Just don't think your sessions can't run the other way in a hurry...

Yeah, I wasn't trying to make a big deal out of anything to be honest. I was simply asking if the online games are "tilted" even more than the standard negative EV game. I found it interesting that when wagering under $12 I was winning 80% of the time and when wagering $30+ I was winning 20% of the time. I just nickel and dimed my gaming sessions to get up substantially.

I also only posted the images because I felt like I was being called out on my honesty.

I still think the online sites are fishy (superstition or not). Right now, I have a very small sample size and I'm going to wait until my first withdrawal completes before I test some more.

I saw a 7 come up 11 times in a row. That definitely seems fishy to me. I didn't really care because I was betting the pass line at the time on a come out roll. But, 11 times??? Doesn't seem logical.

Someone questioned you on your honesty? I would be offended, that fact would fall inside the parameters of when the owners/moderators consider what is posted here. Someone questioned your motivation, yeah I saw that happen? That is a different issue. Send more craps winning stories here, the more the merrier.

While I don't think you yourself would engage in shenanigans there's others who would. The could simply deposit more money and not include that info and just show the account balance higher.

FYI I have been complaining about abnormal higher and lower bet winning ratios for a long time. I have given up.
No one is ever going to test it properly. Take advantage of the lower bets winning while you can, it won't last long.

I could not agree more. I joined Desert Nights. When playing the free version, I made bets similar to Vegas. Won a good deal - even more. All looked normal. When I played real money game, things changed. First, the betting limits imposed were ludicrous. Like, $1 limit of field bets, max lay bets when betting DC where waaaaaaay different than Vegas, max bet permitted on pass/don't pass were $5. As long as I bet 1-3 dollars, I would win and sloooooowly creep up. But as soon as I started with max $5 bets, wnet down super fast. Alas, online casios are a joke :(

I heard my name called earlier so I thought I'd chime in.

Firstly, I believe Bovada is a sponsor of WoV (or used to be), so be careful what you say! You might find yourself suspended for bashing them.

Secondly, Take your money and run! Ive posted about online craps before, I do not believe anything electronic is completely random... remotely random for that matter. Its a business, and they know how to develop games to ensure profits.

I remember years ago I wont a #$%load in sports on an online site. I transfered some profit over to the online casino. I tested the craps by playing just 1 dollar on all of the numbers. Amazing! I rolled infinite numbers. I tested for hours at a time. Then I decided to up the ante and go for some meaningful profits. I bet 50 per number. Yep, you guessed it, point 7 over and over. Then I put 100 per number and again couldn't roll a box number. At that point I had given back close to 5k of my sports profits to the stupid online craps and called it quits . One last time I decided to just put 1 dollar on every number..... yep... number after number after number. Corrupt and certainly not random. Never again.

Sabre is correct....Not all online games/casinos are gaffed. Unfortunately, it's hard to tell either way, unless you have a significant amount of data or it seems very obvious. That's why I always suggest you have a significant mathematical advantage over the online casinos before you even get started. My motto when it comes to OLC is Gaff the gaffers.

Thanks for the warning about online craps play. I'm disappointed that higher betting would bring on a worse outcome of the dice. On real tables, people progress their bets, and does the 7-out almost always come when you get to $30? I'd be checking for an exorcist.
