And I was thinking that the dice had to be superbalanced to nanometers.

No, because the dice influencers use Cheetos. It turns out that if you eat Cheetos while you're shooting, and hold the dice in a certain way, the cheesy powder will stick to the dice and cause those faces to land face-down more often. Like using pine tar on baseball bats. With the right application of cheese dust and the right dice arrangement, the shooter can have a large advantage over the house. But you have to use the crunchy ones, the puffy ones don't work.

(I apologize in advance to any casino operator whose felts need to be replaced because of this post. Give me a call and I'll buy you a replacement without any orange streaks on it.)

I have always wanted to have a rack of orange chips in front of me at the Craps table! I think I now know how to make it happen!

I thought that The Captain of Craps preferred Cheez-Its.

A little faith keeps us from going back and forth on the scientific observations and theories.

Grunch: wouldn't off-balance dice help the players, much like a skewed roulette wheel or a bad NFL line? The players get to choose which numbers to bet on.

Yes, but it's a mysterious world the people that think they can control the dice live in. They have to power to not only influence the dice and to be able to see and tell when they throw a shot that feels like influence, but when they lose it's an off day and when they determine they've found unfair dice they can't take advantage of it.

A lot of pixie dust and unicorns.

It's that pesky back wall. If they would just
make the tables 40' long, all would be good
for the controllers.

AP from physical dexterity, eh?

There are dreams of AP from physical skill that are worthy of noting.

But the realities are very far away in my, now, more than 5 years of experience watching craps tables every day here in Las Vegas.

Not so magical. I think that gambling addiction has as much to do with the brain "remodeling" itself as with moving into a "roomy one" in the first place. It takes a lot of "hard work" and time to end up where a lot of the guys are today. "Teaching men how to fish?"

Anyway, there're going to be a lot of people swearing off weed, etc, as they near their old ages. Like the tattoo guys paying thousands to laser those off so that they can feel clean one last time, and won't look so bad at the funerals. Some of those "DI hard with a vengeance" guys here are going to feel so embarrassed in the nursing homes, after a few months when they all sober up and realize all the crazy stuff.

I doubt that they're pretending. All this "rock your world" stuff, instead of understanding it.
