I have been reading this Forum for about 3 years, almost every night; finally signed up; several times I wanted to add my 2 cents. Guess "better late than never" i suppose.

Heading to Vegas next week to play craps. Finally using my first comp'ed room for 3 nights at Ti!

I'm a red chip player (sometimes green after 9pm) going on my 5th visit to vegas. I believe i'm about even for lifetime wins; craps 90%, 5% roulette, 5% slots. I mostly play PL and 1-2 come, Place 6&8; occasionally buy 4&10 for $50; sometimes "chase" to hit a YO with 3-4 consecutive bets for fun. 2 way hardways for the crew when i'm feeling flush. Never had a problem with tipping and usually throw in my last red if i managed to get cleaned out after a long session. The wild swings in chip count is what really gets me going with craps. I tend to feel juiced the whole time i'm standing at the rail (prefer just right of the stick or on his/her far left corner).

I am more likely to write into the blog area in the beginning since my interest in this site coincides with the "stories" told by the members. But having said that i piddle away 2hr almost every night i view the site following threads and links and stuff.

I have really enjoyed the site after absorbing as much as I could from WofO first. Both schooled me on my craps play after learning in Nassau as a bystander when I was supposed to be resting between scuba dives. Paid for my hotel room BTW!

Again, thanks for being here.

You don't have an option for "Joined immediately."

I was among the few that were on the Wizard's mailing list and got invited to join before WoV was made public - and joined during that semi-private period.

But I'm that way with all of the message boards I've ever joined. When I discover them, I poke around for a little while. 10 minutes at most. In that time I've either joined, or left, never to return. Does that 10 minutes or so count as "Lurking"? I think not...

By the way, WELCOME!

I'll take requests for systems on the Bubble Craps machine at Ti. Found the machine last year was nice to kill a bit of time waiting for Cirque to start. Later on I used it to get my fix when the tables were full.

Tired the Iron Cross: meh
Tried Place 6, hard 6: some success.
Tried PL and constant 1$ on 2&12: loss (funny, made a killing on WofO old craps game)
Tried the "wait for 3 non-field then Marty it" that some kid posted on YTube: lost my buy-in like a slap in the face.
I may try No 4 No 10.

What do you suggest?
BR $100 I could play a specific #rounds or time limit? Profits as a Wiz donation?
Maybe post this somewhere else? I got morning flight Wednesday (VEGAS BABY!)

Welcome.
May I suggest you keep precise records. The IRS will love you for it but mainly you will benefit from it. Estimates tend to be too rosy.

Also, drop the two way hardways.... they rarely hit and don't impress the dealers all that much.
Most of the craps players on this forum will probably be suggesting you stop any Yo Chasing.

Congratulations on your first comp'd room.

Nope. You're not blind. There's no way to edit polls.

$100 BR? how much were you hoping to make-- or do you just want to make it last as long as possible?

Yeah. Advice taken. Not planning to start to a "system" out of Yo's.
Got to watch a guy do $100 three ways on my epic night (see below).

I do mix my tokes up with "Dealer's on the line", "Dealer's choice", and straight toke "for the table" when I walk. Not big on a straight toke in middle of a game, seems out of place.

I have to admit only came home once with 5K. All from one 9 hr session on my first trip to the freekin' place = bad precedent!). Gave it all back last 3 trips. But enjoyed almost every minute of it. It gave me a mental cushion to go to shows and shop a bit without "sweating the money" not to mention pay . I'm frugal the whole year anyway. Would have been 5.7K but dumped $700 in less than ten minutes the next session... I was still on a stupid high from lack of sleep and walked by an empty table. Vowed never to play an empty table again. Reminded me as well that I really do like the social atmosphere of the game. Could be different if I had easy access to a table. Probably a very good thing one hasn't been built where I live.

See if a short term profit is possible, say in an hour. That pretty much means attempting higher variance, right? And walking at a specific win goal like 2xBR.
Just for fun.

Just like the concept of Bubble craps being more private for weird bets and low minimums without having to travel out of Ti. I do plan to try the non-strip craps games for lower minimums when i travel with a different group. This trip is a focus on the football opener with my brother in-law and his friends. They prefer clubs and don't gamble much on the floor. Sports betters mostly, with much higher incomes than me anyway (hence the interest in clubs and "bottle service" Sheesh!)
