I don't see where any casino would have a problem with that. Seriously are you nuts? At least it eliminates the need for hand signals for Wonging purposes.

Seriously though BoTox, please go check on Gman. Maybe send him a PM or something, seems like he's barely hanging on.

Dang billy, I thought we were finally just starting to get along. Okay then, what else ya got?

You started this thread and have said you were looking to put together a team. Part of the requirements on a team should be being even-tempered and being able to take the jabs a counter will encounter.
I'm curious. Today, right now- Do you think you are better and more skilled than the folks you are arguing with? More experienced?

Now, me and SOOPOO were trying to have a nice conversation before the 3 musketrolls kept interrupting. He tried explaining it to you nicely but you just weren't getting it, so I felt that maybe I could help to penetrate that thick skull with the same type of nonsense that seems to be all you can understand.

So, if anyone here would like to share some mature and intellectual thoughts on advantage play and the game of blackjack, then I will kindly give a mature and to the best of my ability, an intellectual response. Otherwise, hop off my nuts and off my thread, and take your trollery elsewhere.

I always try and have a nice conversation! But you seem to have left that train at the station. How should someone respond to you when you tell him he has a thick skull? I understand GMan flung an F bomb at you, and Billy has not been ‘polite’ as well... but Omega.... take the high road.....

In summary, Omega, if your goal is to really recruit a BJ team you are not doing yourself any favors here.... Think how much better this would have worked.... “I found a casino where I can spread 1-20 with good penetration....good rules.... low heat...., anyone interested in joining me shoot me a pm”. The guys who are being rude to you.... try and dig through and see their motives...? They are just trying to protect the overall AP community.... not even themselves. I’ll bet you $5 Billy is not flying out to get on that casino boat....

Just trying to help.....

I agree SOOPOO..but sometimes people need to be taught a lesson. How should they respond to me? Hopefully not at all. I've seen how they treat new members and members outside of their click, they are nothing but condescending and disrespectful and it needs to stop. A person's skill and experience mean nothing if they have weak character. I have no tolerance for bullying and no use for them on my threads. Now, moving on..

SOOPOO, you're so right! Unfortunately, by the answers we got from the genius, we are losing our time. When I read that my experience compared to Omega's own expertise is probably at trolling people, what else can I say? We are facing a guy who has ABSOLUTELY no idea to what kind/type of players he's talking to. This doesn't imply he has to "know" everyone on this site or any other site, but it shows that when facing an "unknown to him" the poster doesn't have the intellectual property to remain prudent and "size" his interlocutor. He's a know it all/see it all and it makes me laugh cause I would bet A LOT of money he's the least experienced players in this thread.

Can you show me where I did that? Out of our click? I have never met billryan and Bo Sox but it's easy to see their value as BJ players.

Alright, so now that we're done with all that nonsense, next trip is going to be in a couple weeks at a place called Hollywood Casino in WV. Never been there before, but it's not too far from where I'm at and supposedly has a decent game. There's also 2 other places we are going to hit as well that are close-by, so I'll give another update when we know for sure where we are going first, game conditions, etc. Cheers!

No.... I am not saying you and GMan and billy aren’t offering him good advice. I am saying he is aware of your advice and clearly AINT GONNA FOLLOW IT. So it’s now up to you to decide how many more times you will offer him that advice that he clearly is not interested in? It can’t be worth your time!

Yes, I understand what you are saying perfectly, and I am standing by the above quote that I previously said that I am done with him. Funny thing though the administrators say that we are all invited guests on the site so stand by our rules and everything will be fine. Yes, it is a privilege to be a member of the site. Just as long as management also understands that it runs both ways in that they are fortunate to have the privilege of having some very knowledgeable people as members.

Bo Sox, all you have said is right. However, from my experience, about half the sites will prefer some bozos generating hits than any expert advice. Experts usually give simple, sound and concise advises that won't generate 20 pages threads while the bozos like to speak about themselves and get in "fights" with more knowledgeable players, it's their way to feel alive, to feel they are in the world of advantage play. I am already on stage two of all this... :-) From what I understand, Omega doesn't see the problem in posting what I would call "sensitive information" on free boards and I am NOW perfectly fine with it :-)

Omega, BE MY GUEST !

PS. May I add these salvation words from the bozo himself ?

Ive been there. August 2013.

FWIW. Bosox is solid. Tough. But smart. I put him in the category of a Don S.

Ive read many posts by GMan from another site. Seems like a solid guy as well.

Ive read a few of your threads and posts. You impress me as a very bright young man. Hard worker to advance his game. A boss, back in the day, would say "he is growing too fast" or "we can only be as strong our weakest.employee."

On a fun note. I went out to watch the NCAA Champ last night. I usually watch the big games at home. I mean it stands to reason that when you get that mamy people into a small space? There is bound to be some dorks. What I dont understand is why they always sit next to our table.

The guy in front seemed as though he was about to win his first bet ever. High fives with strangers at every basket all night long. He had the over. Last I saw he was sitting with his head in hands about 45 minutes after games end.

Now the guy behind us seemed normal enough. He sat in silence and watched the game. So I said to the guys at the table, "why cant there be more people like that guy"? However, just as I said it? The guy pulled a stuffed animal out of his coat and started talking to it. Evidently, he had the over as well.😄

You cant make this stuff up.

Best of luck to you in your endeavor.

Moses, please don't insult Don Schlesinger, that man is brilliant. What the hell are you doing with your game looking for changes now? Just stick with what you know best. I just had my second covid shot 4 days ago and going to wait around 10 more days and start playing again as it has been almost 5 months since I last played. Looking forward to it as I now have more time to play because of a bad circumstance. Back to you, I have to admire how you been able to maintain keeping games open to you without being thrown out of that city for decades now. Maybe the thread starter here will come out your way and find a few good games and let everyone know.

Bosox. You are very well read. Especially, on Don's books. Thus an excellent source for advice. I came back for a month in June and again in January. Suffered worst losses ever by far.

So I dug a little deeper. Im ready. Just need a little nudge. Im a wee bit gun shy.

Best of all in your return.

Omega: The moral of my story is dont get too excited with winning. Im pretty sure we have all had our head in hands a time or two. Find a way to decompress or one might end up talking to stuffed animals.😱

Without a doubt. Trust me, I have certainly lost my fair share of bankrolls in the nearly 10 years of my playing career. But thanks for the advice Moses! 👍

Alright, so after talking with my partner we decided we are going to stay a night at Harrah's Cherokee here in NC first, then head north. The game there isn't the best, but it's a pretty nice place with a great view and fun drive to make in the mountains, he really wants to go. The game is 6D H17 with around 80% pen, so I'll be going in on them pretty hard with a 1-25 spread ($10 - $250), and planning to do a first stream there as well. I've played there a bunch of times with no heat, if we have any problems we will just grab our chips and head out the door, cash them later. Games up north are supposed to be a little better, same rules but better pen. Anyways, that's the plan so far! I'll keep y'all updated.

If you go north take highway 441. Fantastic views as you climb the mountain and some wildlife to boot. Brings you out in Gatlinburg and that is another interesting town. We saw about 100 elk in one spot.

After mdawg and the real Marcus Clark were taken over the coals for simply reporting their 100% true accounts of their fantastic results, can you blame anyone for not reporting their results? A few weeks ago, I was all set to write up my most recent casino trip, where I won 27 hands of BJ in a row, while waiting for the roulette table to get to the point in the cycle where a dozen reds in a row came through but why bother? The people here are so in love with math I'm surprised a few haven't tried to marry it. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
What's the point of posting 100% true results if no one will worship me over them?
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

Funny someone bring this thread back...
How is doing my "guest" theOmega623 ???

Funny we can't read anymore where he's going with his super team...

Thanks for asking Gman, I apologize for not posting reports more often as I was under the impression there was a lack of interest.

The team is going very well, although I would not personally classify it as "super". It is still mostly just myself and my brother with a 3rd player joining up with us from time to time. I'm happy to say that we are up a considerable amount after upsizing our bets and overshooting our EV, we have been very lucky and I am very happy with how things are going.

How is your career going my friend?

Omega623, while blackjack play is not a popular topic of discussion on this forum, please know that there are some members interested and I suspect even a few more interested that don't respond. It is a limited audience though.

So, I am one that is interested and hope you are doing well.

The big thing with team play, the thing that has brought many teams down is the trust issue. Even if no one is skimming, but a player just has unusually bad results, suspicion and the trust issues can poison the atmosphere to the point of destroying the team. .

For this reason, plus the call in team approach has now been overplayed and easy to spot, IMO the best team type approach is a 2 or 3 man team with people you know very well and trust. A brother is a perfect situation.

My brother and I teamed up for one year a few years ago. It was an EMFH team, which is players playing separately but combining results and bankroll, so as to smooth out variance and reach the long-term quicker. I thought it went very well, but he decided he wants to play solo. He said he felt additional pressure teaming up and just wanted to play solo and be responsible for only himself. And for 3 or 4 years now, we have each played solo. We also share a residence in Las Vegas, so I still sort of know how he is doing.

So I can appreciate having your brother has a teammate. Can I ask what kind of team strategy you are playing? Are you playing separately and combining results, or are you doing some variation of the spotter / big player call in approach?

Continued success.

Thanks for the response Kewlj, it's good to hear from you! I agree that lack of trust is the primary reason that teams either fail or cease to exist at all. I'm very lucky to have people I can trust to play with, they are the type of people that offer to get dinner, people that I have given money to in the past and said not to worry about paying it back and they paid me back anyway. I know they would do the same for me.

For awhile we played together but that was only because I was training both of them and wanted to make sure they were keeping the count accurately, now we each play separately on a shared bankroll. I have used the call in method on a rare occasion but it's not really part of our game, more of a "if the opportunity arises" kind of thing. We exchange cash and chips during trips and watch eachother play, sometimes play together just to make it fun. We really get more and more aggressive every trip, it's become a running joke that my brother would ask me before every trip if we were going to "go in" on em' this time? And I say we go in on em' everytime, cuz f em'! lol. At this point I doubt we will add anymore players to our team, the way it's going now is perfect IMO.

I'll keep you updated on this thread, glad my friends on here bumped this one and brought it back! 🙂 How has the year been for you so far? Are you still playing full-time?

My year is actually completed now. I like to end my year just after the Rodeo leaves town which would be next weekend, and just take a little time off over the holidays to relax, visit with friends and family, and watch college football bowls games and other sports. This year, I ended about a week earlier, just because I have had such a good year, following last year's disastrous results for me, I just wanted to book this good year, I know that smacks a little of stop limits, a concept I am usually an opponent of, but I didn't stop thinking I was altering any future results which is what stop limits really are. I stopped just to book and enjoy the good year I had.

I don't know how to explain it without it sounding like a stop limit and a bit of voodooism, but when you have the year I had last year, my worst in 15 years, my worst in my time in Las Vegas, some 60 thousand dollars below expectation, doubt creeps in (despite doing this for 18 years now), I was just anxious to book this year and feel like everything is right again, everything makes sense again.

As for fulltime, I am as fulltime as I can be over the last two years. Last year between casinos shutdown for 3 months, my long recovery from covid, and just a couple periods that covid cases were rising that I just wasn't comfortable being in casinos, I only managed about 5 and a half months of play. This year I didn't start until I got my vaccination which was April 1 and I stopped November 30, so I got 8 months play. I did manage to make up the lost EV both years by playing higher stakes, but my total rounds played was significantly down. So Full-time? not my usual fulltime, but as much as I could. :/

I'm glad to hear that you have bounced back strong! And I understand completely what you're saying, I had a trip just a couple weeks ago when my bankroll absolutely skyrocketed in just one night, and this came after a long series of basically break-even trips. So I decided to just take the win and leave early, I was exhausted and I missed my family and just wanted to go home. Although you know the math is on your side and you should continue to play, there is nothing wrong with giving yourself a break mentally and taking the win!

I can only picture some non English speaking person typing this crap thinking that’s how we all talk eventually trying to sell us something

Americans barely put forth that many words when we aren’t trying to say anything which that’s what they did … they didn’t say anything

And they think we’re going to fall for it lmao

Give him a chance. 5 posts in ten minutes are not going to be the works of Shakespeare $:o)

One of the posts was substantive. I think he’s probably legit.
