Holy crap so many professionals!

This kj guy is really feeling the heat. Banned from here, he's now solidly embedded elsewhere, seemingly non stop crying in his beer. What did you guys do to unhinge the poor professional?

In other news, Zim Dicklick, aka mickey crimm, has once again been accused by larry s of closing down a bar.

That site is Pure Entertainment

This is what I mean. Let history be history. Let's move on. I am a bit curious about your motive since you are new here and keep mentioning banned member. Passing their where about and movement. And also I sense your tone is not quite positive.
May the MOD think "horse" is a bit strange?

You loved Vermenti did you not? I always love it when people come in with multiple accounts and troll like a pro. It's gold, gives me a laugh. Suppose it's one flaw of banning someone, the site loses all hope of trying to control member behavior.

I also wondered what a "New Member" like Horse did to become banned. Only joined 20 days ago and already banned. Turns out he was a sock puppet or something like that.

As a professional blackjack player, who has managed and financed players for 40 years, I am familiar with KJ dating back 10 years to Kens Smith’s forum. I have alway been troubled by his message board posting. It would seem some of you have trouble differentiating between KJ the immature, thin skinned and often obnoxious poster of and KJ the blackjack player. Have any of you that are questioning KJ’s ability at the blackjack table and the legitimacy of his claims of professional play, actually witnessed him play?

I have seen him play on several occasions without his knowledge. He really isn’t that hard to find if you are inclined to. It takes but a few minutes to see him take control of the table, without anyone even knowing that he has. There is little doubt that he is an expert player. I have no doubts as to the validity of the claims he has made regarding his results. The thing I question is why?

I recruited KJ for my team 6 or 7 years ago, despite my concerns over his forum posting activities. As his posting activity has grown more disturbing in recent years, I don’t know if I would feel comfortable recruiting him again. Perhaps with some sort of silence agreement. But for anyone to suggest that his online activity is any indication of his blackjack ability, is someone who has not seen him play.

Does he have a Star Wars action figure
he sets next to him? 'Control of the
table' sounds so ominous, like he's a
character in a James Bond movie..

Not different at all. Competent and efficient, but not flashy. Precisely what I look for in a player, which is why I recruited him.

The only negative was excessive posting on forums. I thought that a concern at the time and would consider it even more so if I was considering him today. It is ill advised for his situation and would be even more problematic for team play, placing other team members in jeopardy. It would be a deal breaker, without some assurances.

But anyone assuming Kewlj is not a competent player because of his reckless and disturbing online activities has come to the wrong conclusion. And anyone who has seen him play, would know that.

If you found yourself in a New York City taproom at 4am in the 1920's, you might wrongly conclude that the out of shape alcoholic was not the professional baseball that he claimed to be. But if you visited Yankee Stadium and saw him play, you would know that he was.

I don't know KJ and have never seen him play. However, I have read everything he posted here and did not doubt the veracity of his claims to be an expert. In part, because he seems to be as honest about his losses and setbacks as he is about his winnings.

It's good to hear some verification of that from someone who has seen him play. It's regrettable that he got himself permanently banned here, but he made an unforgivable error when he threatened the Wizard's person. So it is what it is.

Someone shows up, making unsubstantiated claims and someone else uses it as verification?
The beat goes on.
I personally doubt this is Bojack from Ken Smith's forum. Wish it was as he could add quite a bit, but won't be surprised when it turns into a flyby.

I'm not "using" it as verification as concerns this forum. I liked kj, and it's nice to see someone speak up for him. Doesn't change anything.

I agree re:bojack. Afaict now, it's not a sockpuppet.

I'm still waiting to hear how KJ
'takes over the table' as soon as
he sits down. How does one do
that in BJ. In poker a player with
a loud mouth can intimidate others
and effect their game. The last thing
you want in BJ is players making
mistakes, so 'taking over' the
table makes no sense.

Why should I care if the other players make world class plays or stupid plays.
Nothing another player does effects you in the long run. People who think otherwise are ill informed. I have seen players masterfully buying other players splits or filling in another players double for less, but scavenger bj is a horse of a different color.

And don't we all know it. But start
doing things that aren't playing by
the BJ book and watch how the other
players treat you and what it does to
the mood at the table. Take a hit when
you shouldn't, split cards you shouldn't
split. The fun will begin.. I saw a woman
take a hit on a 19 once, and made 21.
The guy next to her screamed in her face
she was a f-ing moron. Good times after
that..

Edited: I remember now. She hit on a 19
got a face card and the guy next to her
needed a 10 because he had 11 showing.
Geez he was pissed. lol

Well, nothing an average player does is likely to affect you. But, an AP at the same table can certainly affect you by changing your count ratios. The best example is wongers. But, there exist are other examples. As far as scavengers, they can slow the game by an unacceptable manner. Speed is your friend.

Any private business open to the PUBLIC (ie. droned out casinos) cannot have a criminal trespass enforced against an individual without GOOD CAUSE (Disruptive or Disorderly conduct). You will never go to prison for being thrown out of a casino for legal advantage play and then returning because it's simply unconstitutional 'as applied' to the individual. 'As applied' constitutional issues must FIRST be raised in DISTRICT COURT (trial court) to have it thrown out. You CANNOT raise it on APPEAL This is the best kept secret in the world of casinos not just in Vegas but everywhere in the country. Thank me later.
