don't know who or which casino this refers to but it could be 'too busy' or you left too soon or he forgot.

I usually give the floor man my Id stuff and he gets the pit clerk to go get my card for me.

Didn't you ask him about the card when he returned your ID?

Yeah, I've got to imagine he returned your ID to you... was nothing said?

You might be confused.

Was it a clerk in a casino or a cop on shoulder of the road you handed your ID to?

So he took your ID, after a moment or two he gave it back, then you waited.

Then after some amount of time, without saying anything or asking anything, you just walked away?

He may have just used your ID to enter you into the system. At my place we don't issue a card. We just ask for ID when a player doesn't have one so we can add the play.

I understand that the casino has cards. The Blackjack pit may not be able to print cards though. So they just took your ID so they can start tracking you and apply any comps that are due.

Wait a sec...

This was a pit person? I thought you were talking about the clerk at the player's club counter.

But still, you didn't ask?

This sounds like AP paranoia 101.

Were you doing anything that makes you have any concern you could be flagged?

I doubt they flagged you. Most casinos I've been in, if they feel you are flagged to the point you cannot get a players card or comps they will tell you to speak to a host, not simply ignore you. Remember, if they think you have done something, they don't want you to continue.

He probably just forgot. If anything, you made yourself look suspicious by not enquiring what happened to your card, lol.
