Threads like this, stay under the radar,
stay under the radar. Don't play for long,
don't win a lot, don't act suspicious like
a teenager shoplifting a DVD at Target.
Be friendly with the pit, drink a beer,
talk to your tablemates. This isn't rocket
science. Loner types who look around
a lot and wear long billed caps and
act nervous, they always get noticed
by the pit. Don't be a unibomber clone,
in other words..

Yeah, because that's not suspicious at all.
If you're actively trying to avoid letting them get a look at your face, it's going to be suspicious as hell and they're going to try harder to get a look at your face, including sending someone downstairs to look at you.
Best thing you can do is actually look different.
Cut your hair, maybe wear makeup (yes, I know OP is a guy, but it doesn't matter. They'll just think you're gay or something).
