In 6 hours, I shattered my old session record by 25%. That was before I drove to another casino to pick up my birthday comps, which I always add into my session amount. And if anyone is wondering, yes, I keep track of this irrelevant data and I pretend it has monumental meaning. I fully understand why someone else (not me) wouldn't want to put any importance on this information in isolation, but if you must comment on its meaning, please limit it to the meaning it has to the pit. Because it certainly is relevant there. My money was triple counted at the cage (I'm a mid/low roller, in a low roller joint); once machine, one teller, one manager. The pit has become increasingly aware of my activity because I am a rinse and repeat, habitual offender. Same bat time, same bat channel. No cover. And today, I hit them hard. Somebody is gonna be unhappy. Fortunately, I altered my routine, and I was leaving when I usually arrive...so I played during a shift that I don't play on, the shift that usually deals with me for most of the marathon cashed me out, and the other shift never saw me. The one thing I like about that though--I don't feel sneaky. And I honestly think that to a degree, they appreciate it. I think with the pattern I use (which is insane and shouldn't be used ever, obviously--you should spread your action to different casinos and use short sessions), it is the best approach. When they realize what you are up to, they don't want to see you working hard to put one over on them. Plus, it costs you money.

So in short, I think I'm gonna buy a hooker. Now I know if you get one off the internet and meet them in a hotel, you could get arrested in a sting. Does that ever happen if they come to your house? I assume it is possible but never heard of it. They would need a warrant I imagine.

Happy Birthday and enjoy your hooker. If you invite her to come over and open the door to her, she doesn't need a warrant if she's vice.

I think you can just ask them if they are law enforcement or wearing a wire and if they lie then it is entrapment.

Police like to be in complete control at all times. It is highly unlikely that they would send an undercover into a private home where there too many unknowns. It's just too dangerous.

I'd be more concerned about being robbed after being slipped a spiked drink or worse. Be careful.

I'd be most concerned about the litany of potential STD's for which a condom does nothing to protect the John, especially given the fact that the objective is to engage in sexual Congress with a person who appears from hotel-to-hotel and house-to-house for a living met on the Internet.

Meeting a woman in a more legitimate (read: non-financial transaction) should not be too difficult. Now, a woman who is willing to engage in sexual congress shortly after meeting should certainly raise a few red flags with respect to potential STD's, but at least one can assume she sleeps with fewer people than the hooker, anyway.

In any event, at least it would be more satisfying (I'm assuming this, as I've never rented a hooker) to entice a woman into bed with something other than money, even if the risk of STD's were relatively equal.

Anyway, good luck, be safe, try not to contract HIV.

I've got nothing, here. Hookers are -EV, like 6/5 JoB negative EV...

A cop is the least of your worries. Do not ever let a hooker know where you live. Its hotel room or nothing. Remember, there are darn few, if any, dedicated women in Vegas. They are all thieves or addicts. You get the sex only if they can't rob you first. If you take a shower afterward, they will probably rob you then. So if you really want to celebrate.... spend the money more wisely that a hooker.

And no, they don't need a warrant. Also the offense is committed by offering ANY sum of money, so if you jokingly offer one cent, you can wind up with a citation. Also if you joke about the hooker paying you, that is an offense too. So steer clear of hookers ... and Metro Vice cops tool

NO. That is not true at all. They can lie or tell teh truth or whatever. Entrapment takes place only when they induce in you the motivation to commit the crime, not when they successfully lull a wary person into doing what he already wanted to do.

Eros-guide would be the optimal site to find your lady of the evening but it looks expensive. They won't see you without screening, so you'll be dealing with true professionals. Go for it and get a hot one and share her pics or her website.

Try what mission says but when you meet them at burger king, just keep pulling out a fifty at a time and saying "does this look like enough" until you reach your spending limit.

LOL...no one cares about my big win, it's all bout the hooker. Really, vice needs no warrant? I've never heard of them going into someone's house, I've always read about hotel/motel stings. I told her I need a nude modeling session first or to meet in a public place first, no touching. As Mission advises, I will try not to contract HIV, but I am not making any promises--because if she brings a dirty needle, that's my weakness, I must stab myself.

GWAE--LOL how could you believe something that silly?

Well congrats! You might have gotten more response about the win with more details about what you played and the particular winning pays. Happy birthday! Fuhgeddaboud the hooker, a chip will do ya for bananas, and you won't have to make conversation afterwards. I don't know whether or not Animal Control needs a warrant...

Nicely done, SoB, I'd also be curious to know at what level you played and how many hours it took to get what kind of gains. In the words of a funny dealer I interacted with not too long ago -- "double your money, go find somebody!"

I played at the 5 dollar tables, like always. 5 to 190. But my typical high bet is under 100, and I usually spread to 2 hands.

It took about 4-5 hours to get up 1200. And I hovered there for a while. My goal was 1400, at that point i would beat it, otherwise, I'd just play the whole day like normal. I hovered around 1200 for awhile. Then shift change. Hit a good shoe, which was the final shoe. Remember one hand in it. Soft 18 and hard 13 against an Ace. Took partial insurance. No bj. I'm playing H17, and wrongly used the S17 index to stand on S18...realized after the fact. Next card was a deuce. Next card was a 4...making my 13 a 19. Dealer's under card is an Ace, followed by a 10, then a 6 for 18. I win and push. This is one of the only hands I celebrated, the whole time. I actually lost like 5 bucks on it due to insurance. I played it wrong, which led to me to a near push, instead of an insurance loss. It was like a $90 total bet, plus insurance. Must have looked odd all day...lose $5, no reaction. $75 blackjack, same indifference.

If you played "correct BS" and drew the deuce to the soft 18 for twenty and then drew the 4 on 13 for 17, the dealer still improves the pair of aces to 18 with the 6 and the result is the same. Yeah, I know, not the right play sticks in the craw, but you dodged the bullet so celebrate! Was the insurance justified?

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy I played it wrong. On days like this, I usually make a couple mistakes and they go in my favor. But other than this, I was in the zone--no emotion, totally zoned in to what I was doing. On days where I play 100% error free, I can get whooped.

Yes, insurance was justified (I did get hammered a couple of times having blackjack, and the dealer having an Ace under his 10...would have taken insurance but couldn't!) Standing on 15 v. A was borderline, but just on the side of hit. I neutralize Aces in 6D, so sometimes the amount I am betting is vastly incongruent with playing decisions.

No, vampires need a warrant because it gives them permission to enter. I know this, because I am in the process of illegally watching Vampire Academy.
