Final table chopped it:

70k winner
45k each other 4 players

Winner had to give dealer 2500 tip

For the bonus 500k tournament the 10 finalists (5 each Aria and MGM plus other auto qualifiers (those with 150k loss and any one trip in 2013 or 300k loss aggregate past 12 months) plus 3 wildcards will play til there is 1 winner to play dealer win or lose for one hand of 500k (no splits, no doubles, no surrender just the one hand)

I was not chosen as a wild card

So the story does have a happy ending. Your enemy turned into your good luck friend the Lady in White.

Nothing from Ace in 24hrs, this usually means
bad things. Bad for who, though, that's the
question.

Somebody check Ace's room, we have had no
reports since Sat night. He was talking to the
lady in red last we heard.

OK everybody - I just got home to New York - I did not play anymore last night - I was in a bad mood about the tournament but eventually got over it and had some dinner and the socialized in the casino talking to dealers and pit bosses I have become friendly with over the past year on my various trips there. I was drained from the tournament nonsense and felt that to play any additionally sessions…especially after the lady in red/denim/white (as the case may be - considering she has now made three appearances always wearing a monochromatic color scheme) deemed me worthy enough to ask my opinion on whether a dealer was hot or not - I informed her I had played with the previous dealer who I had won the 500 from but that the new dealer was an affable guy who I have played with on prior occasions. She took this as a the green light to go for it. Another gentleman then asked the lady in red if the table was "good" to which she replied, while pointing at me, "yeah , he just won here" — a few moments later, she had a disgusted look on her face and she was buying in with more cash

I must say that, other than the tournament, I had an excellent trip…

Zarkana was a great Cirque show, the Bacchanal buffet was a-ma-zing and getting to hang out with my cousin and trade blackjack war stories was great as well. Winning at the tables is always a bonus and now making a new "friend", teliot, here on the boards was interesting to say the least…although I am sure he stopped reading as he disapproved of my playing style and wondered why anyone would be interested in my trip reports at all.

So, here I sit, contemplating when my next Vegas trip will be while I get ready to go to bed back home. The next trip is 12/30 to my old AC stomping grounds where I hope to have some great photos and stories from the NYE event and my blackjack sessions during that time.

Thank you again for all of your support on my trip reports - I love having you all along for the ride!

Sigh. I tired to warn you about the power, but
you scoffed and made fun. At least you made
some money on the tables, it would have been
unfair to let you lose there too..

The 30th, looking forward to it.

Yes, I know. But NYE, that's a different ballgame. I
would give you my prediction but that would spoil it.
Wouldn't it..

So, for schadenfreude purposes, NYE is bigger than the tournament?

I remember when you were running away from here in elevators that she was very old and had a bad disposition but now you have seen Lady in White and Cowboy Lady so who knows what other powers will be revealed? You should take a pic with her and put it above the ones of Shaq and James Woods or whoever the other guy was. If you 2 joined forces, what BJ table in the world could stop your combined might?

If you are with your cousin again, ask the Lady to hold the camera while you two stand in front of something, then have your cousin hold the camera and get a pic with the Lady. She would probably feel good about being included in your circle.

Perhaps on my next trip - as she seems to always be there when I am there (perhaps she is a local)

I enjoyed the discourse with terapined in the political threads. I think there are some that take them in the right light (they are discussions between "friends" of a sort who disagree on some things) and some that take them too far. I'm sure some think I take some things too far...but before you ban yourself you can block members and ignore what they have to say. I think nuking yourself is taking it a bit more seriously than you should but it is his choice.

Oh, well...it was nice knowing you!
