Not sure why everyone is hating on your Darkoz! Congrats on the first of hopefully many victories against the typical uninformed and illegal casino actions. I'm HOPING one day you can talk about these and we can get all the juicy popcorn eating details about you making the casinos suffer for their injustices.

p.s. Whatever you get, ZK woulda got you more... ;-)

Thank you so much.

It is appreciated when I dont have to defend myself from attacks for a change

We all make the choice to take s##t here when we decide to post.

Some just make it easier than others by purposely putting stuff out there that they know is going to bring the attacks.

And many would argue they welcome and expect it.

I should not be hampered in what i boast about

The only personal rule for me is I boast of real things that happened or I accomplished

And along with that I also give those instances where my life crumbles. No one here can claim I only boast of the good times. I have been very forthright with both the good and bad things that have befallen me.

Surprisingly to me I seem to take more flack for the honesty of when my life has been in the doldrums than when I boast of my success.

As Holden Caulfield would say, "Strange, my a**"

Darkov was homeless. Today, he boasts about having a few benjies in his pocket.

I have the best credit in the world.

Its called The Benjamins.

Accepted most anywhere and without ID.

Lol

You keep measuring success that way.

I will stick to counting my benjamins

From his perspective, he is rich. He came up from nothing, to now having something. Even before he had nothing, he mentions topping out at a salary of $49K, which again, is about nothing.

However, EvenBob is absolutely right when he says

Know what people with real money
do? They never, ever, talk like that.
People who do talk like that are
the ones who want everyone to
think they have real money,
because they don't.

Boasting or even talking about what you have asset wise is both a sign of insecurity, and a sign that the person doesn't really have as much as he claims, or at best, has only what he is boasting about and no more. So when he says
Quote: darkoz

I can afford to pay for entire spring fling dinners

that might be about all he could afford, straining his entire net worth, to pay for some dinners.
Someone mentioned Donald Grump - his boasting about what he has definitely comes from insecurity (boy from the Bronx (Queens) trying to play with the blue bloods) and also his "Art of the Deal" if we may call it that, is to borrow and develop based on exaggerated income and assets, based on bluster.

But really, the only ones Grump is fooling are the have-nots. The only ones who really believe everything Grump says about his net worth are people who would be impressed with a shiny new pickup in the driveway, or a new flat screen TV, or house that is valued at over $500K.

To Darkov's credit, he does laugh at some of the posts that poke fun at him. For example he added a lol after my post where I opined that he might just be getting 86'ed due to being smelly homeless and then suing based on that exclusion by status versus exclusion for misdeeds. The ability to laugh at yourself and not get hysterical when challenged (the way for example SigfriedRoy gets bent out of shape when questioned or contradicted, showing great insecurity) shows some kind of groundedness.

There are inconsistencies in his posts however. Just for example: This robbery he talks about (he means burglary of course, there was no robbery), he claims the alleged perps are still in jail since January without any charges being filed. That just wouldn't happen. Also mentions the FBI investigating. Yes there were player cards allegedly taken but still, nothing he describes would motivate the FBI to get involved in a residential burglary. Unless they were investigating Darkov himself for identity fraud, for having all those player cards if they were say, in fictitious names, or he was assuming others' identities. But I don't really see that happening either, so his claim that the FBI is investigating a res. burg., also makes no sense.

You make a number of assumptions. Perhaps the reason the charges have not been filed is that the perp is in jail on unrelated charges. Year ago, someone stole a packet of those checks banks send out for cash advances and cashed out several thousand dollars. This was in the mid to late 90s when id theft was almost unheard of. To his great surprise, two FBI agents showed up at his office and then followed through a few weeks later. While I doubt they follow up every case these days, they may still be in charge.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

Funny you correct me on burglary va robbery. The FBI agent did the same thing. So yes, I was a burglary victim. The FBI agent was a bit more circumspect about pointing out it is a common mistake for those not involved in law enforcement

The reasons the story isnt making sense is because I havent told it yet. Things are still in flux and i am waiting for when i feel comfortable telling it. The points you make about jail time and FBI involvement are correct. You just have surmised what is happening as wrong.

Finally when you state I bragged about topping out at $49,000 that was per month! Leaving that out is a bit deceptive?

Am I rich? That is just perspective.

A multi-millionaire is poor to Trumps thinking but rich to many others. Bill Gates probably laughs at Trump being only 10 billion.

I am doing extremely well for my current profession as an AP. Utilizing AP, I succeed, am self-sufficient and have a large crew of workers who also are self-sufficient (they make their entire income off work from me and are making way more than minimum wage).

One worker once called me Robin Hood and I respectfully declined that appellation. I pointed out I dont take from the rich and give to the poor. I give to me.

He response: "Dude, you're feeding a whole [f-bomb] community. There are a whole bunch of people eating because of you."

So, yeah I do well. Rich? Thats just a subjective standard. I am quite happy where I am at. I enjoy what I do. Considering I succeed in a career (AP) that most dream about and most fail at thats rich enough for me.

That's what all boasters say, and they
say it all the time. "I wouldn't lie", they

EB, mdawg, etc. This is turning into trolling of darkoz. Back it down a notch, please. There's a difference between discussion and baiting someone.

I think you may have meant "appellation". An assignation is something you don't decline, particularly if she is bright, beautiful and rich.

Yes I stand corrected.

My brain was telling me it was the wrong word too but I was typing in bed from a long nap. My brain refused to let my fingers search google for the right word lol

Just corrected it in the op
