The following could be proprietary or open source to be used for gambling sessions, such as slots and table games, etc.

I envision showing an internal screen on the inside of the lenses while having image processing capability on the outside.

Similar to a hologram, but have the inside lenses of the glasses be the screen.

I don't want any visible attachments, for I'd like them to look like normal tinted eyeglasses, to avoid getting the boot.

The miniature micro controller and card can be elsewhere on my body.

In regards to the functions I would like to support include all statistics, charting, being able to post videos, downloading and uploading formats, storage, blue tooth, etc.

How could I invent the screen on the inside of the glasses and the camera for data input?

Is Google Glass still a thing in 2022?
The company announced its brand-new prototype AR glasses in May 2022. Google Glass 2.0 comes with Google Translate built-in, promising to translate languages in real-time.

Casinos probably consider it cheating to use cheating glasses and they don't want filming in the casino without permission. I wouldn't bother with the project or the results.

I think they quit production several years ago but are still developing them.

It could eliminate manual card counting but I was thinking more of slot machines.

Is card counting classified as cheating?

I don't think filming a slot session would be consider cheating or else all would prevent filming.

Card counting and spreading of bets based on the count isn't cheating, but the casinos are on the watch for that behavior and ban people they notice doing it. Some jurisdictions just take countermeasures like shuffling the deck often with low penetration, or flat betting the person or the table at the minimum bet. I mean, a known card counter walks in and within 10 minutes the table has the same minimum and maximum bet of $15 or $25, it really puts the other players at the table off because of the card counter. Then there's the YouTuber card counter who films his every backoff and he becomes nationally known and gets backed off before he even buys chips at the table. Card counting may be profitable, but how long can you go before your luck runs out everywhere you can be?

YouTubers have been banned from casinos for using their mother's Player's Card and winning a slot jackpot in addition to filming their slot play without permission. The casino may not seem to care if you film your slot play until you get to the Elvira slot machine, then all bets are off and the security boot is in the player's butt.

I didn't think it was cheating.

I don't know if having the additional data would make a difference in the casino's profit or not.

It would just be a more enjoyable experience and the data should be available anyway since they have the edge.

For example, horse racing.

Having the Daily Racing Form available, besides the paper or cell phone.

I think cheating implies changing the odds against the casino.

This wouldn't change the odds against the casino.

Decks or shoes may become statistically more favorable to the house or the player as the number of remaining cards dwindle down. If the house were to shuffle up when the shoe became favorable to the player, the player would lose more and would fail to find winning streaks that are needed to catch up from all the previous losing hands. A player could be behind say 250 hands after many shoes and shuffling up early when the shoe favors the player may blunt winning streaks that would lower his losing streak to -200 hands. Continuous shuffle machines used at some BJ tables are a form of shuffling up early and blunting player winning streaks, and are usually avoided by card counters because the shoe is never really in their favor. Card counters increase their bets when the shoe is in their favor by their count, so they have to win fewer hands to make up for their previous losing streaks. So they could make up a 250 hand losing streak by betting 10X as much as normal and winning 25 hands in the last half of a heads up shoe that had a positive count and they were winning a vast majority of hands, hopefully by dealer busts.

No. The odds are not constant. In a game of dependent trials, like the way blackjack is commonly dealt, the odds vary from round to round until the cards are shuffled.

I remember when Google Glass came out the first time.
I recall a lot of signage posted declaring use of the devices on the gaming floor to be prohibited.

Computers intended to aid the player are considered illegal in many jurisdictions. Useful search terms for your further research include "Taft", "George", "David", "Thor", "Eudaemonic Pie", and - most particularly - "Murat Bliev".
May the cards fall in your favor.

Just bring or memorize a Basic Black Jack Strategy Card. That's about the only help you'll be allowed at the tables. It might take a few hours to learn the basic strategy and it's easy to forget if you haven't thought about it in a few weeks. Counting cards like a card counter is not part of this training.

OK, good info., TY.

It's different than online casino BJ, correct?

What other casino betting could make a difference in the odds?

Dieter, TY for the info.

So the logic of card counting would have to be absent for a casino to use it as a unique marketing tool.

Instead of disallowing the use of smart glasses, they could advertise it (or even buy them for consumers), if the logic didn't change their edge.

As a consumer, if 40 casinos didn't allow it and one did, I might want to go to the one that did.

Of course, depending upon regulatory law jurisdiction.

There's some cheap HD spyglasses on Amazon, and even a 4K version. But some of these glasses are so dark as to be ridiculous to wear indoors, they look like sunglasses instead.

I'd like to record my slot sessions just to see what random data looks like in various charts as it pertains to slots.

But I'm really thinking about a horse racing system using Artificial Neural Networks.

I'd have to eventually pay a fee for some data services.

If one is planning to wear such glasses surreptitiously, I don't think there are any models available that could do that except under very lax circumstances. Now there may very well be glasses that could accomplish that, but most likely the CIA had those made specially for them and they would probably be quite expensive even if they were available.

Then again, maybe there's some overseas outlet for high quality spy glasses.

After thinking about it, a cell phone might could power the device.

So if a metal detector was installed at each entrance to pick up electronics, a cell could pass through.

I was using a handheld computer at the racetrack 30 years ago. It quickly became apparent that other computers were at work betting on my horses at the last second. This damaged my EV within a parimutuel system. Bets that would be 30% +EV at 1 minute to post ended up barely break even. If you want to go up against the handicapping pros in 2023, good luck to you.

I started on an iphone app about 15 years ago where you would just point the camera at the VP screen and it would tell you the holds. Unfortunately, my image recognition code was very rudimentary and didn't work very well. Today it would be quite easy with all the image recognition libraries available.

The problem is it would only work on games that showed the paytable on the screen while playing (which most older IGT games do).
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

I try to watch a few YT channels every day of 3-Reel slots.

I almost never watch the newer video slots because I don't like them.

They're very interesting when studying emotions.

This one person was on a losing streak and was getting very negative.

I wondered if the losing steak was associated with the attitude.

Eventually, the person broke out of the losing streak.

It was brutal to watch.

I know exactly what you are referring to when you explain late buying.

I try to only play superfectas unless they're not enough horses in a race.

I hardly ever pick favorites on the top because I prefer higher rewards.

Meaning, I don't care to go after low rewards.

I like about an 8-1 on the top of a part wheel but it might be boxed too.

With the high carryovers in the pick sixes, I might go after those with a system.

Very interesting.

The channel video I watched last night (3-Reel) was an older IGT slot machine.

The strategy was to run $10,000 through a $25 per credit machine.

I think it was Triple Diamond.

$50 per spin.

They were hand paid about $26,000 but they inserted less cash than $10,000.

Since the $10,000 was based upon spins.

One person tracked the number of spins on a cell phone counter.

So 200 spins.

But I don't know if the person shows loser sessions, so I am not under an illusion.

No, the emotional state of the player did not have any effect on the silicon in the game chip that implements the pRNG.

I was playing a slot game at $10 per spin where the optimal strategy called for me to gamble every base-game win until I lost it all or I collected more than a certain threshold value. I lost 627 bets in a row ($6270) before getting a win above the threshold value. I don't think I would be a very interesting youtuber because I didn't get very emotionally involved with the 627 game losing streak. It was not that anomalous of a losing streak for this particular slot game.

Zippy Chippy only lost 100 races in a row.

This person I am referring to had about a 3 week losing streak.

A new post occurs almost every day on average.

I think the negative play affected the person because when a medium sized hit occurred, the person would cash out at a high floor instead of a lower floor,

Instead of continuing to play the machine of a medium sized hit, the person would move to another machine and lose it back plus some.

I've had losing steaks, but this person wins the prize.

I thought the crying would be next.

Good story about Zippy Chippy. LOL

627 losers in a row is tough.

In most jurisdictions, card counting using just your eyes and your mind is absolutely not cheating.
Card counting using a device IS specifically deemed cheating and is illegal in it's own right. That device can be as simple as a pencil and paper or as complex as a body worn computer.

Specs with a camera and computer analysis of blackjack is a recipe for arrest.
