Continuing to debunk 146, he says:

If the player, "Knew anything in advance," then the player would not experience many losing streaks at all and would have only winning streaks. There are things that you can know in advance, with certain tactics, but what you are saying is not one of them.

I say:

Here, 146 does not appear to understand much of what I've written about what the player can and can't know in advance. He seems to be grasping at gambling vocabulary to put together a passage of words that don't apply to my argument.

Continuing to debunk 146, he says:

The tactics by which a person might gain information that would change the probabilities that would otherwise be assumed is also mathematically calculable, just so you know. For example, if I know or have reason to strongly suspect that the first card out is going to be a face, then that has an impact on the House Edge that is calculable. I can use that information to my advantage. The math still applies.

I say: Yes, the above paragraph is well known in many circles. It doesn't do anything to debunk my argument.

Anyway, that's all. I close with my advice that I suggest that you never gamble if you truly believe that five paragraphs of ill-conceived quackery that you posted. Or, if you really must gamble, learn something about math.

I say:

Based on all I've written, I see no reason whatsoever to take the above advice from 146.

Even if the equivalent of a large order of McDonald's fries, large strawberry milkshake and two Double Quarter Pounders with cheese that your post has binged and then violently purged upon us had even the tiniest shred of logic to it, which it doesn't, it would STILL be able to have math applied to it.

Dear WOV.

Is it my fault that a number of posters here are upset, and then try to savage me? Who's motivations are out of whack? I don't think questioning math as many people think it applies to gambling, is anything insulting.

Assume you're wrong to begin with, and prove you're right. It is a fact someone who professes how capable and knowledgeable they are, usually knows less than someone who just admits they don't know yet. Would you drive faster if you don't know where you're going and are lost, or would you drive slower? If you didn't know how you could pay your bills and live, would you prioritize spending and strategize your bill paying, or would you send pictures of must hits to friends to trick them into lending you money and never intend to pay them back and just keep borrowing from as many people as you could scam?
I am a robot.

I don't think this post makes any sense, especially in regard to the post it refers to. I suspect some ulterior motive.

I made it to the state championship match in debate. From my perspective, as far as putting up reasoned arguments, Mission146 has you beat by a country mile.

Very good. You are definitely heading in the right direction with 146, and I am heading in the wrong direction, and I'm insulting and use too much punctuation. Anything else? And I must admit, you're a very good debater (nearly forgot that one).

Come on, keep saturating the post and knock me down. You're going to win, soon!

That's #6.

That's #14.

Well, this post of yours suggests otherwise: "Mathematicians have been saying that it's theoretically impossible to beat the dealer using such a strategy. Don't be fooled by their ignorance. I will tear their theories apart and shove them in the bin, where they belong."

No, because everyone replying to you already knew this stuff, and you've shown no evidence that you've learned anything.

Yes, all the evidence is with you. You got me all sown up. How do I get to jail, where I belong? It's just a question. I don't mean to insult. You're a nice bloke.

Please post stories about how your gambling goes in casino. The rest is navel gazing. Looking forward to hearing how it goes! May the 4th be with you.

I disagree. He has already admitted he can’t come up with two thousand Australian dollars, about $1550 US. MDawg has proven he has access to a large multiple of that.

Here is a good math question:

Just how long will it take Wellbush to break into the top ten contributors for most posts made on the site? All due respect to the Wizard but shouldn't the rules of the board need some adjustments for unforeseen events and circumstances?

There are probably many coming up with much new information. I don’t know what this information is because I’ve blocked these narrow, derisive thinkers. And how can it be new information if it’s just a repeat of the old? Maybe some can’t stand new information that rocks their peaceful existence? So they saturate threads to prove to themselves that they’re right. Wait, how does saturating a thread prove anything?

I appear to have a Mr Michael Bluejay following me . Everywhere I go, he goes. I won’t call him a troll, though. Some may not like it, especially if his views are sanctioned by this website!

I’ve even been suspended and had posts removed. Not because there’s anything wrong with them, but simply because they generate too much heat. Are visitors to this website getting the whole truth?

Wrong, as usual. Likely, you were suspended because of any or all of:

(1) You hurled a torrent of insults at other members.

(2) You cross-posted an identical post to multiple threads.

(3) You openly admitted to trolling.

But, of course you would think that any action against you is because you're being unfairly oppressed, because that's just soooo typical of you. Poor, poor Wellbush, no one will listen to his genius, WoV just wants to censor his superior thought.

I agree with indisputable math, as it applies to gambling....I don't think I have all the answers...

Well, this post of yours suggests otherwise: "Mathematicians have been saying that it's theoretically impossible to beat the dealer using such a strategy [Fibonacci series combined with taking breaks]. Don't be fooled by their ignorance. I will tear their theories apart and shove them in the bin, where they belong."

That nonsense wasn't even censored, by the way. Wellbush has been given remarkable free rein on this forum.
