I would be REALLY curious if anyone has information about the RNG that Interblock uses on it's stadium baccarat. I've heard that the software while dealing does NOT conform to a true baccarat edge, rather each decision/result is a truly independent event, making it "more" random...

It seems to me that if your playing without other players, I've noticed the screen "flash", or "glitch" before the cards are dealt, like it's looking at where your bet is, and then just producing the opposite decision. Or maybe I'm paranoid.

I have also heard that they can set the RNG to either deal straight thru from a random 8 deck shoe, OR deal from freshly dealt 8 shoes for each hand...(casino's choice)..

Would love to hear if anyone has actually communicated with Interblock (they don't seem to want to respond to these type of inquiries) or knows anything concrete...

Thanks!

There is no such thing as more or less random just as one cannot be more or less pregnant. Dealing through a shoe then shuffling or dealing from a fresh shoe every time--it just doesn't matter if you are playing recreationally. I can't comment on a potential glitch in the software but I would be skeptical of such claims. If you think you have found something that predicts results keep track of it for a few hundred hands. If it's substantially better than a coin flip you could be on to something but more research would still be required.

When I played the real card Interblock Baccarat machines at RW in Queens, they would occasionally deal as few as nine hands from a newly shuffled shoe, before switching to a new shoe. When I complained about the delay in the game, in an email, RW responded they have no control over the number of hands dealt from a shoe before switching. That is a random number set by the vendor.

They no longer use real cards at RW, and it is impossible to determine whether the machines are still randomly switching shoes. I suppose they are.

I understand your point.. I perhaps should of used the modifier "accurate randomness".. a computer scientist would tell you that computers are incapable of TRUE randomness. However a site like Random.org uses atmospheric noise to create the random numbers rather then an algorithm, which they say is more accurate. From their site:
"RANDOM.ORG offers true random numbers to anyone on the Internet. The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs."

I don't believe in randomness, I don't know if it exists.

I'm very open to any evidence that their game isn't conforming to the natural odds in baccarat.

This is from the Interblock website:

"Organic video generators are NOT LINKED TO THE DEFAULT RETURN PERCENTAGE, which means that the display of a result of an individual game is purely random and not predetermined. Video generators are totally independent as they do not require any human assistance when simulating traditional table games."

I guess that means the game is using an infinite shoe, and the removal of a card has no effect on outcome. Which would make counting the Dragon bet impossible.
