EQ is in Tacoma, not Puyallup.

It's a real dump: very smoky, no ambiance at all.

Eq is a weird place. They have 2 casinos divided by i5 and one is slots only, while the other is table games/slots. No points or cash back but you can get a players club card. I think there was a promo if you play for 3 hours you get a free meal. Not sure how they track that with no card readers.....

I enjoy checking the marquee by the highway to see which washed up band from the '80s is playing at the EQC. I didn't realize one of the two locations had table games, I thought the entire place was slots (class II) only.

No, the smaller one near Fife on the western side of I-5 is slots only.

It's newer, cleaner, better air.

The older, sprawling dump on the eastern side in Tacoma has table games, including craps.

In all fairness, the craps crews were OK.

I liked it better when it was located on the bay.

My advice: avoid it.

Muckleshoot is better, as are Snoqualmie and Lucky Eagle.

Not surprised to read about the shooting.

The good news is that there is supposedly a $300M redevelopment project that breaks ground this year at EQC.

At Muckleshoot they have had shootings inside the casino, they are both located in rougher areas of WA

Snoqualmie & Lucky Eagle are a pretty good drive from EQC......and I would chose Snoqualmie over LE, but you won't find a $5 craps game on a weekend night at Snoqualmie. $10 min on BJ as well and there wil be one of those.

Puyallup is famous among Bigfoot researchers for many Bigfoot sightings and screams, including this one:

Another thing I5 near Fife where EQC (slots only side) is a speedtrap. I got caught speeding on my way to work once, and a couple more times on that stretch and the next stretch to McChord :(
