Went up there last night, Monday. One craps table open, $10 min. 6 players at 8:00pm, you could get a spot. Another table had a crew, but was not open. There are now 4 craps tables, same as when it opened. It went down to 2 tables for a while, not sure what was going on then.

That might be something that's trending now... last time I was in Vegas (last year) I was playing in one of the Asian pits and one of the pit bosses was a young Asian woman, and most of the dealers were a mix of older white and Asian. Another one of the pit bosses was a middle aged white man, though.

Might be due to RW Catskills is operated (maybe owned?) by genting.com which is based in Malaysia.

Place takes managing tables full philosophy to the extreme if that痴 something that bothers you. Not an issue of having more tables available, don稚 know if it could be staffing availability/training issue, just appears to be the management philosophy.

I was there last Thursday afternoon around 1 to 2. There was one $10 craps table open with 5 players at each end. They were standing spraddled so the table looked full. I stepped up behind the stick and asked whether they had room for one more. He replied, "No, we don't." I waited a while and watched one more squeeze in on the left end followed by one more getting in on the right end. I suppose the local policy is that you have to ignore what the dealer says and push your way in. I was not particularly happy. I let my feelings be known at the stick change, and took my place when someone left.

I致e more less shifted all of my local business from Sands to Resorts World. Plus I知 applying to be a poker dealer at Resorts World.

I was there last Thursday, 10/25 at 11 AM. There was one table open at $10. It was busy, but you can still squeeze in another player or two.

when we stayed it was much easier at any time during day to get a spot. the table got busy around 7 pm, had to wait for a few 7 outs to get on table. they opened a second table when I was done playing an hour later.
Im waiting on that 1 dollar flat with 100x odds to make my fortune

It appears RW Catskills has hired more bus companies in NJ to bring in patrons and they are pushing HARD at local vendors and ticket outlets. Not only are they offering $5 more free play than Sands or AC casinos, but they are including the $10 food voucher to the price of a round trip tickets. Amazingly, the food court will accept the voucher and you can get a quality food item such as Personal Pizza, Full Salad, Burger, Chicken Sandwich or Burrito for less than $10. However, it is not NYC quality Pizza and it is a long wait depending on the time of day.

I'm not swayed as there seem to be over 7 stops on the bus route and it arrives in 2 hours, which is much longer than the Sands Bus trip. Plus RWC has limited amount of tables during the day and usually place high limits at night, so it may be more costly to take a bus down and be stuck there for 5 hours.

On another note, I heard two old guys at a convenience store arguing about how there's no way to drive the 105 miles to get to RW in under 90 minutes. Reminded me of the barbershop scene from Coming to America!

Hopefully a positive sign from Sullivan county NY.

The next-door Waterpark and Go Kart track will be re-opening on June 19, pending approval of course. This could open the door for RW Monticello to open at the end of the month as well.

I trust you池e aware that while Kartrite and RW are only about a mile apart, they are not owned by the same company. Hell, they can稚 even agree on getting shuttle service between the two!

Correct

Never said they were owned by the same company. But if they are able to open up and do business, meaning the county's restrictions were less severe for large gatherings, it would OPEN THE DOOR to the possible re-opening of RW later this month. Sullivan county is pretty far off from the high infected areas of NYC and Philly, so one would hope their infection rates go down enough to allow for soft re-openings of businesses.

https://hudsonvalleypost.com/cuomo-mid-hudson-region-will-enter-phase-2-on-tuesday/

According to the press release, they've gone into Phase 2 this week and would transition to phase 3 within a 2-4 week span should there no further incidents.

Again, just trying to be positive in these dark times and any thing to affirm would be appreciated.
