Last one on the list is Mount Airy and they should more than likely re-open by next week as well!
As I had predicted, Mount Airy in the Poconos is scheduled to open on Monday June 22nd. Great news for locals and my home away from home!
I've been to Mount Airy twice this week and it wasn't too crowded beyond the first day. $25 min. BJ tables with about 8 tables open. I was told there would be a waiting list for spots, but that fell apart pretty quickly when people on the list would just jump onto the first open chair.
The smoking was a bit overwhelming, but having a mask certainly helps with the smell. They were NOT taking temperatures or even a head count at the main entrance. I'm hoping that changes this weekend and/or next weekend with the crowd sure to pile in, but Mt. Airy is pretty well known for cutting corners and pinching pennies.

Not anymore, as of 5 pm yesterday, smoking is now prohibited in several PA casinos. I was there the minute the announcement was made and you could see the smokers faces go grey, literally!

Shocking they made the change at 5pm.
It will certainly affect patronage on weekends and nights, only the degens will show up and the old folks coming for their free toaster oven!
