The easy way out

I get annoyed sometimes with people who always choose the easy way out.

Those who opt for compromising their values to make an extra buck because it's less effort.

Or those who prefer to copy someone else's work rather than to do their own.

Even those who wish to make friends with someone who is smarter so they don't have to figure out difficult problems.

I'm not even saying that it's wrong to always look for the easier solution.

I'm just saying it annoys me sometimes. Especially when those who are fond of taking the easier way about things just assume that others who are not like them are wrong for signing up for more difficult tasks.

The world is not comprised of simply problems with solutions that are all easily referenced in a manual and handily solved.

Sometimes the most valuable tasks are those which the others have decided are not worth pursuing.

Because they are difficult.

I hope life comes easy for those who choose the path.
