I play a little VP for comps, most of the time $1 99.17 8-5 BP. I would like to know what % of sessions I would double a $200 session bank and how many hands are played (average or 1 SD range). I'm aware doing someone else's homework can get old so feel free to lead me to a VP session RoR calculation tutorial.

Thanks and regards, lroz

fun
$200 to at least $400 with 40 unit bankroll

values calculated not simulated (using Markov chain program)
added:
7/5 BP
success: 28.20%
avg # of hands: 83.8

8/5 BP
success: 32.48%
avg # of hands: 102.7
turn $200 into at least $300
success: 46.56%
avg # of hands: 81.4

9/5 BP
success: 37.21%
avg # of hands: 123.3

Thank you! My guess for % to double was spot on. I was really surprised at the avg # of hands played until I looked at a pay table. I had forgotten that you get zilch on 55% of hands played.

Appreciate your response. Regards, lroz
