Not sure what a felony charge means for him being on the show. I imagine History will want to distance themselves.

I predict a reboot with only Rick & Experts, where they get more into the history of items.

I predict no change at all. Chum is a major
part of every episode, millions watch just
to see him. He get 3 times more fan mail
than the rest of them put together. He
wasn't given jail time, and most viewers
don't know about this anyway. If Chum
leaves, the show goes under.

It's not always like that- he may only see a probation officer 1 a month or even less all depends on his situation

As a convicted felon, he's not supposed to be around guns.

I think it depends on the state. I know a felon who can't own a gun but can go hunting with his brothers gun.

Federal law supersedes any state law.

Does that hold for the antique guns only that the store has?

Dunno. But I'm certain they also have non vintage ones as well. It'll be interesting to see what exactly happens and what restrictions he gets.

Rick has said a few times that there is a cutoff year for what he can sell. 1895 or something.

G&S Pawn can only deal in antique guns. Guns newer than 1898 (-ish) require a license that the Harrisons either cannot get or will not get.

I still don't think it matters. A gun is a gun no matter what the age of it is.

Gun over 100 years old are not subject to any
federal laws, you can sell them without a
license. I used to sell them on Ebay till they
outlawed all gun sales.

The fact that the license differs says otherwise. Most of those old guns will be displayed and never fired.

Chum really messed up. He has to watch his ass
now, he's a convicted felon. He has a record now,
even the slightest screw ups and they will come
down hard on him, even after probation is over.
What an idiot.

I think there was something in the plea that called for expungement after probation - I'll have to look again

Yes I just confirmed - if probation is completed then the felony will drop off his record

I wonder if his lawyer told him his probation
officer owns him for 3 years. He can come
to Chum's house unannounced and demand
to look around. He can call him and have him
come to his office and give a urine sample.
Because Chum is famous, he'll probably
do all of that. They did it my ex lawyer
and he wasn't even arrested for drugs.
