As Vegas is the busiest airport for Southweat, it will undoubtedly result in a nonstop from Newark Airport to Vegas. Which should provide lower costs in flying to Las Vegas from the New York Area. Continental/United will still have the option of maintaining their Vegas flight. I know that a number of bloggers on this site have complained about the cost of coming to Vegas from northern NJ. They have chosen their 18 flights and none is to Vegas nonstop, but theire will be connections via Denver, Phoenix, Houston Chicago, BWI, and St Louis. Service does not begin until June.
