Hey there,

I wanted to know your opinions on 8,8 vs Ace and whether you should split or not. Do all BS charts say to split?
The Uston APC i am using does not give a deviation count.

With the European No Hole Card no dealer peek rule you should hit 8,8 vs Ace.
With the early surrender rule you should surrender 8,8 vs Ace.

I'm not aware of any other rules that mean you should not split this hand. In regards to changing your playing decisions based on the count, I'm not sure, as I've played almost exclusively ENHC.

We play without surrender and Dealer Peeks at Ace. So normal split?

And another question would be, how this has to be understood:

For 8,8 against 10 it says +6*

* „True Count at which NOT to split (Stand)“

Does it mean if TC => or really just TC == 6

It means you stop splitting as you reach the index of +6 (or more).
If I'm not mistaken, you also posted the same question on another BJ forum...
As I told you over there, the index chart you are using is for the NoDAS. If you're playing a game with Double After Split, you have the wrong chart.

Thank you @GMan but I am not using the wrong chart since it says that the values of the "DAS - Split" chart should be put into the normal split chart and corrected there. And in the normal split chart there are those values in circles.
