Hello Everyone,

I have this question bothering me since long time about the overall odds on winning on Banker bets with no commission baccarat. Please don't confuse with the word "No commission" because the casino pays 1:2 (half) whenever Banker wins with 6 points. So in reality they still charge a commission but say No Commission Baccarat.

Anyway, lets get back to the question.

1. How many times in statistically correct 1,000 hands Banker wins with 6 point value?

2. I am aware that this version of baccarat (which pays half when Bank win with 6) has 1.46% house edge on Banker bets as against 1.06% in 5% commission baccarat. But I wanted to know how many % is this commission for 1.46% house edge version? It is surely more than 5% but I wanted to know the exact number. Is it 6% or 7% commission for such a version?

If anyone can shed some light on these questions, I will be grateful.

Thanks

I refer to this as version 1 in my page about commission-free baccarat.

The "commission" is the value C where (1 - C) x (all banker wins) = (full banker wins + banker 6-wins / 2).

For eight decks, this is 5.872658%

Thank you Wizard for your reply. Yes I have seen that page already but my question didn't get answered there and that is why I asked it here. The question is How much % of the commission casino charges for Version 1?

We all know that 1.06% version (commission baccarat) has 5% commission on Banker bets.

Likewise, I wanted to know this commission percentage for 1.46% version. It has to be more than 5% in this case. I need to know the exact number. That's all.

Thank you. So it happens on 58 hands for every 1,000 hands on an average.
