Hi. I like playing the Don't Pass. If my bet loses THREE times to one player (whether on the come out roll, or making his point), I will wait until the next shooter to make another bet. My goal is to avoid a hot roller (or hot dice) from damaging my bankroll.

Is there a difference (in Probability or Odds) between waiting for ONE SHOOTER to lose my bet THREE TIMES (on the one hand), or waiting for THREE SEPARATE SHOOTERS to lose my bet ONE TIME each? (whether on the come out roll, or making his point).

In other words, will my bets be safer if, after I lose to ONE SHOOTER after ONE LOSS, stop gambling after three losses in a row to three shooters? Compared to losing THREE TIMES in a row to only ONE shooter?

Thank you

Waiting for three different shooters will take longer. That will preserve your session bankroll for a longer period of time... If you have the patience.

it's all just superstition, thinking 'which shooter' matters.

anything, though, that is a reason to lay off betting, and to wait instead, means putting less into action. Gambling less is good, but players have a way of putting just as much into action anyway.

While it's true that waiting longer will help your bankroll last longer, if lasting longer was truly your goal, just stay home.

Otherwise, abide by the Wizard's sage advice:

Hi. I like playing the Don't Pass.

I used to do the same, then did not like the many winner 7s that made the bet lose. I wanted to win always on any 7, so I moved over to Lay bets.

It is what you believe in.
some say yes and some say no

Do craps shooters really have some control on any dice roll while you bet on them?
I say have fun playing and
thank you for sharing
