Hi. I'm from Argentina. When I read that the Wizard had travelled to my country I expected he would visited the new casino in Rosario. I'm not really sure if this is true, but I've heard it's the biggest in South America. It is huge, and on Friday and Saturday nights, the place is packed. Definitely not a quiet place. I've been to Las Vegas and I can honestly say it's as big and luxurious as some of the casinos there. It has a five-star hotel, several restaurants, a few shops and live performances. Rosario is the third biggest city in the country (about 1 million residents) and it's 300 km northwest of Buenos Aires. Anyway, if you ever return to Argentina I hope you can visit our casino. As a local resident, I'm very proud of it. I love the site, keep up the good work.

It's simply called "City Center". I couldn't find any good pictures on Google Images, but you can see some on their website (in Spanish).

Sorry, I didn't make it to that casino. I did see lots of ads for it. Hopefully I will return to Argentina to climb Mount Aconcagua before I get too old.
It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet.

Babasonicos - Irresponsables

I like this song, but I really can't figure out these lyrics. Where does "carne" come in? Is it literally meat, or is it a metaphor?

Si fuimos carne de la intriga casquivana
que la imprudencia del rumor hoy desató,
y descubiertos por la luz de la mañana
nos castigaron la desidia y el dolor.

I didn't know that Babasonicos were known in the U.S.! I like them too. "Carne" just means meat (or flesh) so it's a metaphor here, it'd be like saying "prey".

It is literally flesh. I don't recognize the allusion here, but I think it means something similar to "carne de cañón," which means "cannon fodder."

BTW "baba" = "drool" FYI

Lyrics are difficult for me, but I think a lot of them are very abstract anyway. For instance, this song by La Maldita Vecindad salta pa"tras clearly has a call for tolerance at the end. I can't really make a sentence out of the lyrics. They seem like just phrases.

Poder, necesitas de nombres,
disfraces y reglas.
Clasificaciones:
vivir de segregaciones.
Nuestras diferencias somos,
no hay pureza.

Drool sounds?
