Alright so let's say I'm making a day trip to a few casinos and want to bring a bag that will carry non-valuables such as a cell phone charger and deoderant. Will casinos traditionally hold it for you, even if you aren't staying there? I know you can check baggage if you arrive before your room is open, but I'm wondering if they will do this for you for a charge.

It would be ballys or trump plaza in ac, specifically.

I don't know about AC, but I've done this on several occasions in LV. I think any casino would do this as they want to make it as easy as possible for you to gamble.

I've left things at the bell stand and no one has ever asked for a room number unless I ask it to be sent to my room when it's ready. When you're checking out, they don't care where you're going.

I say leave it at the bell stand. Tip a buck when you pick it up. They've never charged.

I'd check with them directly.

The IP in Biloxi would freely check baggage and just give you a numbered card in return without ever checking on who you were or whether you indeed intended to check in or had just checked out of your room but wished to stay and gamble for awhile. They simply affixed a numbered card to your luggage and stored it in a baggage room a few steps away from the desk. No fuss, no charge.
Though of course a tip was surely appreciated.

Casinos will do anything reasonable if there's a profit in it for them.

Most casinos DO have a coat check (although it may be seasonal), for a small fee. Those that don't, you can check items at the bell desk, for a tip.

I've left bags at Ballys AC before with no charge..after I've checked out of the hotel. They didn't seem to mind. Just tip a buck per bag you should have no problem. FYI the coat/bag check is just to the right of the main check in area.

Thank you everyone for the responses, sounds like if I tip a buck nobody will really give a damn.
