5,000 M Life tier credits free

If you have an M Life account and a facebook account, go to any of the MGM Mirage properties pages and "Like" them. You will see an option on their profile to get 5,000 tier credits free. All they need is your players club number, email address, and birth month/year. This applies to existing and new accounts, so even if you don't have one, you can create one.

Can u tell us what 5000 tier credits is good for? I have an M life but I don't use it that often.

5,000 tier credits is worth the same as $10,000 coin in at a slot machine or $50,000 coin in at video poker (theoretical loss probably about 700). It's also worth about 9 hours of blackjack play at $25 / hand. However, the tier credits only advance you for status. It gives you no EXPRESS comps which have monetary value.

Pearl is the 2nd tier of the mlife program -- At 25,000 tier points, you get a Buffet Line Pass. Big whoop.

I ahve the old MGM card and I think I enroleld in the new program online. In any case, it's free.

Will it help in terms of offers you receive from MGM? I doubt it, but who knows.

But that Pearl card is so much prettier than Sapphire! Once you get out of the ranks of the Sapphire, it just feels better knowing that any time you toss your card on the table, the pit boss will likely take note of you more than if you had the lowly blue card.

Also, once you get above Pearl, don't you accumulate credits and express comps at a faster rate? I'm not going to sneeze at something free for minimal effort.

Thanks for posting this seviay. I am making plans for the Beau Rivage again, so I just bumped my score to 29,524 with this 5,000. As you say, probably not getting me anything more than I already had, but can't resist FREE. :-)
