I always do professional editing on mspaint

It's really easy to crop out stuff, hide faces or text
They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I said I had a theoretical degree in physics. They said welcome aboard.

I'll try that. The oxysdaily link provided by ThenWhatHappens was an excellent link with the perfect solution and a HIDDEN app inside of the iPad -- alas, it's only for iOS 10+. My iPad2 is at 9.3.5 (latest update).

I would assume Photoshop.

FWIW, my limited ability iPad2 was able to work with an app called Drawing Desk - thank you and the others for your tips!

If you can get the image on your computer (email it to yourself perhaps), you can simply pull it open in Microsoft Paint aka MSPaint (free accessory automatically on every windows machine). From here you can just select blocks and black out faces (by painting over them), or erase things from the photo, etc.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

I don't give up easily, so I will definitely try this MSPaint one more time. I'm thinking though, that my iPad2 is not really a "Windows" machine, but an Apple, right? It didn't come with MS Office, and I chose not to pay for it - instead, I downloaded the free (but more limited in function) Google Documents and Sheets - but thanks for the tip. Again, I'll give it a whirl!

That was somebody who used a filter to swirl the image instead of just covering it up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Paul_Neil

FWIW, we were both right. There's no MSPaint for an iPad (only MAC), but I searched and found . . there's a pretty darn good alternative called Paint98 for iPad. It functions quite similarly to MSPaint, but the app only shows in portrait mode - I do 100% of my "work" on iPad in landscape mode. I will keep Paint98, as it is really easy to use, but I'll lean towards using Drawing Desk, which is in landscape mode and reasonably intuitive . . . still need to make some editing on pictures/names pointed out by RS in my "Deconstructing a VP Tournament" post.

But I appreciate your making me push my own envelope to reach out to discover and LEARN. Now, I have to apply this concept into ACTION as I slowly and carefully re-assess my BJ strategies, ramping, etc. for a 3rd trip (hoping for end of 2017, or whenever . . . ). I will prepare an "order of operations", and then post it for the more experienced BJ Mathletes to critique. Should be getting more mailers by May time frame and thereafter.

Finishing up my last TR, which I'll convert to a post called "A review of air and land transportation to/from/in Las Vegas".

Have a super weekend!
