There a row of Progressive IGT machines at Showboat called "Bank Buster, Triple and Double Stars." The payouts for the machine are posted on the front of it and are straight forward. But above it are the progressive payouts and there seems to be no explanation as to how the progressive is to be hit. there are four payout levels starting $10 up to $15K the last I saw. My question is, does anyone know what triggers the progressive?

IIRC, the Bank Buster one was is just like the Mystery Progressives and they are triggered to pay each progressive at a random amount in the range it lists for each progressive when the meter rises to that specific random amount. So bet max right before it must hit. Be careful, most players start betting more/max too early. I believe the meter rises based on coin-in and not on the amount won. All said, only if IIRC.
$1700, 18, 19, 1920, 40, 60,... :/ Thx 'Do it again'. I'll try

Thanks...That seems to make sense. That might explain why I was the only one playing while the small payout was only $10.
