The good news is that tomorrow, my grandaughters birthday, will be celebrated by Jimmy Buffet, in Biloxi, in opening up his new casino. Since we know it's always 5 o'clock somewhere, that's when it will open. The bad news is that I will not be there. So I trust that there will be some one there shortly to report on the joyous occasion and give us a complete report including the craps tables. I have heard that quite a few "friends" (dealers) were migrating over from the "not so" Grand and Treasure Bay. But I may be there next week and will report back if no one has done so.

Sorry you won't be there Mr. DeMango. I understand a ribbon cutting and a performance will take place at 5:00pm but I think gambling is still scheduled for 8pm start.

By the way... there IS a players club card .... but it will never get you ANY free play or cash back or anything like that. There will be no free play at Margaritaville, there will simply be 30 percent looser slots than anyone else in the neighborhood under the theory that the free lunch is not free.

18 - Table Games

5 - Six Deck 21+3 Blackjack Tables
3 - Four Deck Blackjack Tables

I just drove by it and plan to be there Weddnesday AM. I'm getting a little old to fight the crowds for the opening Tuesday night, but we may go by for the ribbon cutting at 5PM. I'll try and post a report.

Had to cut the trip short and could not visit the new casino. If anyone else makes it there, I would appreciate any info for my next trip.

I went this weekend and had a blast.

All blackjack is 3/2 s17, 6 decks for $5 and 2 for $10. Friendly dealers, fast valet, and a huge assortment of tropical drinks for table comps. Craps was either 10 or 20x, didn't see any good vp. I liked the $5 pgp..

Buffet was small but good- $9 for lunch on Saturday , $14 for dinner.

Got a discretionary $20 buffet comp after 90 minutes at $10 a hand.

Really fun place. There is a bar under a volcano. The volcano has a slide where a woman in a bikini rides down it every hour into a giant margarita glass. Weird.
