Craps in Colorado Casinos

| gambler Member since: Jan 11, 2010 Threads: 111 Posts: 480 | I have to make a trip to Denver, Colorado and wanted to find out if any of the casinos in Blackhawk or Central City offers craps. If so, which ones? More importantly, are any of them attached to a hotel. I also heard that they have raised their limits in recent years from $5 to $100 max. Does anyone know how that relates to the odds bet? For example, does that mean a $100 passline with up to $500 in odds? Or only $20 with $100 odds behind? Any advice or suggestions from Colorado people or people who have been to their casinos is greatly appreciated. |

The max is $100, so I'm pretty sure that you cannot make a $500 bet on the odds. It's pretty goofy because you can put 5 $100 wagers on different bets across the table, but you can't bet more than $100 on any individual wager. I heart Crystal Math. |

If you get a chance, get the local paper which is the Denver Post. It usually has an insert magazine that's all about the gaming for Black Hawk and Cripple Creek. |

If you go non-peak hours, keep in mind that most do not have a table open all day. The dealers at The Lodge told me they are one of few (if not the only one) that keeps at least 1 crap table open all the time. Minimum was $5, max was $100. I think odds were 5x but it could have been 10x. Field bet paid 2-1 on the 2 & 12. |

That's about the same distance as walking from the entrance of Paris to the monorail at the back of Bally. I heart Crystal Math. |
