That's what I'm hoping happens to me as well! Hit something nice so I can just ignore the promotion. Just FYI, VPFree2 says the only good payout at $ or $5 is the 8/5 BP in the high limit area.

I was at the Trop over Super Bowl weekend. They have 6 $1 9/6 BP machines between the table games area and the Akhbar Lounge.

I was already a member of their old program so was not eligible for the $200 even the odds promotion. My wife easily lost $200 and received $100 in free play which she lost in half the time it took to lose the first $200.

Also, I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the $500 applies to table games also. Which is ripe for "cheating" You can probably pocket $200-$300 in chips pretty easily in the course of a few hours at a $5-$10 table. They end up reporting you as losing $500, but you only really lost $200. You get $500 in freeplay, and turn that into $400 or so, and you just won a bunch of money risk free.

I've been trying to call the River City players club all day and can't get through. I will be in St. Louis March 5 for the MVC basketball tournament and might give it a try. I suspect it's just free slot play to be issued later (to ensure a return visit). Since I'm just visiting it probably won't be such a great deal.

Sounds like a great deal IF you live near or go to St Lo fairly frequently.

Good luck to anyone who gets a chance to try it !

I think it is interesting, and a good sign of increasing competition
amongst casinos, that there seem to be more good deals like this
being offered.

Same promo that Four Winds in Michigan has only theirs is for $400 and is ongoing. I burned a $20 and got $50 in FP plus another $10 in FP for one day only that I didnt get to use. I turned the $50 in FP to $50 cash on a lousy one cent 7/5 JoB game there.

Here is the lowdown on this promo, from my experience. Yes,this Promo was true and also very great. I participated. the night it was offered was the 1 year anniversary of the casino. It worked like this. Using your mychoice card, anything you lost up to 500.00 (i lost 500 on ultimate hold-em table game) was covered. No limits on what you could have lost on. In fact, they only seemed to track it by your cash ins, so i wouldnt doubt that you could have received the credits even if you won money, so long as you cashed in using your card. I lost 500, though, like i said. They sent me a mailer the following week with 2 vouchers, each worth $250.00. One could be used in the following 2 weeks, the 2nd one the 2 weeks after that. You took each voucher to the casino customer service center and exchange it for non-cashable game play vouchers. You could get them in whichever value you wanted. I opted for 25 $10 vouchers each time. You could play these vouchers on slots or table games, so long as you played EVEN BETS- so blackjack, roulette (red/black odd/even 1st 18/ 2nd 18, etc), pai gow, baccarrat, etc. Both times i played baccarat. The 1st I was very lucky and won nearly every bet i made with the vouchers. If you bet with 50 in vouchers, you actually win $100, because before the bet the vouchers are worthless, and when you win they take the voucher and pay you its value plus the value of your win in chips (that are now cashable). My first 250.00 day I turned 250 in vouchers into 440.00 in chips.
2 weeks later i did the same, and was even luckier. My first bet of 50.00 netted me 100.00 in chips, so i continued to bet the vouchers plus played the 100 i had just won on the dragon (the table i was at was at hand 60 with only 1 dragon so far back at hand 22). After 2 more winning hands I upped my Dragon bet to 20. DRAGON! 8 beautiful black chips. I played the rest of my vouchers out and walked from that table with over 1,000 in chips. I ate a comp dinner at burger bros (amazing) won 140 at ultimate hold em, and cashed out. about 1,500 in overall winnings played all on the houses money (that used to be mine), but nonetheless, ANYONE WHO EVER GAMBLES AT A CASINO SHOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ANY PROMO LIKE THIS IF THEY EVER SEE ONE. gives you 2 chances to gamble the same amount of money; if you are willing to gamble at the boat when you have only one chance at winning, any moron with half a brain can see the advantage in getting a 2nd chance at it. Also, does anyone notice that it was easy to win at the boat with the boats money? makes you wonder
