I'm here to help a cause.
Wamu is at its final stages of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The US trustee has established an Equity Committee and just last week friday a federal judge accepted its existence. What does that mean? It means that common shareholders are represented. This doesn't happen to often in bankruptcy court.
