A man fired shots at a security guard at Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Monday morning after attempting to rob the gaming facility, Milwaukee Police told news station TODAYS TMJ4.

The man allegedly pointed a gun at the vault main banker, demanding keys to the lock box. The woman refused to give the keys and ran away. However, he still managed to grab a money box.

According to police, the man ran to the door, dropping the money, and then continued to sprint to his black Ford Explorer without a license plate. There, he encountered a security guard and opened fire. No one was injured, and the robber escaped, heading onto
I-94 toward Chicago, Illinois.

Shortly after the incident, at 3:00 a.m. Monday, police cars surrounded the casino.

The safety and security of our guests is our top priority, a Potawatomi spokesperson told TODAYS TMJ4's Melissa McCrady.

Thats the same casino where a security guard
tried to tackle me for using a cell phone on the
casino floor. I stepped aside just as he went
flying by. He then tried to grab it out of my hand
twice. I never went back, the circus was in town
and all the sideshow acts were in the casino. Ken
has since told me, nope, people from Milwaukee
all look like that...
