In honour of the snow that is currently bringing the UK to its knees, all the questions are snow and winter themed. All have been pulled from a website that allows free use of the questions. And remember - no Google (or Bing, Yahoo or other search engine). If the questions prove too difficult, then I will try and find easier ones. Just let me know after your answers what you think.

Here are the ones where I can at least give an educated guess:

3. Lots of vowels, so I would go with the Scandinavian languages -- Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, and Icelandic. I would be utterly guessing which word was which of those languages.
5. I think we're having one now in Chicago -- a blast of cold Canadian air, I think because a low pressure system in the US sucks it in.
9. A glass box/coffin. It is kind of creepy for a kids' movie.
10. This is a guess -- Staad (sp?).
12a. Malamute.
13. Winter.

Sir Richard Burton was much to old to play Richard the Lionheart in 1968. It was one of the first films of a promising young actor who would later be knighted.

The wording of the question confused me ("language" instead of "languages".) It thought there was only one answer.
