I have been catching up on a few weeks of this thread when I came across this gem...

On a totally different topic, here is a picture of me when I was around 23 in my long hair era. Click on the image for the uncropped version.

Great photo. The mullet, bleached jeans, and stache definitely fit the era (early 90's?).

What are you holding (aside from the sick mullet on your head)?

That is a removable or "pull-out" radio. A theft deterrent. By looking at the size of his belt buckle, the Wiz likely had some extra spending money for a "nicer" radio. I would guess Alpine or maybe Pioneer?

Ever used the Savings Catcher App?

If you buy an item at some other place but Walmart you scan your receipt. If Walmart sells it for more it credits you the difference.

Savings Catcher is solid. No need to search through ads to get the best price. I use it occasionally and transfer the Walbucks to an Amex Bluebird for easy future use.

I have heard of such things, I will have to look into that one.

But already the wheels are turning, I see some potential shenanigans.

They have a yearly cap (maybe $500-$600) per year/per account. But if you are shopping regularly at Walmart you should definitely be doing Savings Catcher. Using the Walmart app makes it pretty easy.

Where does the Restaurant Inspector eat lunch?
A: He eats his sandwich from home on a park bench.

What sauces and condiments did you have?
Any ice water?

No food borne illness surveillance networks are currently reporting any problems in the American South with Outback or with Tilapia.

I got one of the nastiest stomach bugs of my life coming back from Vegas. I thought it was food poisoning from stupidly eating shrimp at the Grand Canyon West Indian reservation, but my girlfriend got sick a few days later, and actually went to the hostpital like I should have, where they told her it was a virus. I'm pretty sure food poisoning is bacterial. But either way, a 6hr flight with frequent vomiting is a special sort of hell.
