When we got the new phone yesterday I saw a "cheap" smart phone that was Samsung J7. It has a large screen but not as clear and the phone is slower.

My wireless carrier sent me an upgrade 4g, I think. But what is the use of having the net available if the screen is the size of a postage stamp and how can I type 'abc' is the keypad but I want 'b' or 'c' and keep getting 'a'.
What is the cheapest phone I can get that I can actually SEE?
All I do is plug it in every two days and buy more minutes every month that I don't really use.
Its got bluetooth but what do I do with it?

There's a slight timing lag on the character registering when you use that type of texting. One tap=a, two quick taps =b, 3 quick taps =c. Some letters have a 4th tap for punctuation or other marks beyond the alphabet.

If you buy a past-generation smart phone, either one "reconditioned (trade-in)" or via ebay or someone, usually they're either free from your cellular provider, a small monthly payment to own (like maybe $5), or less than $50. I personally would suggest a Samsung note 3, or a Motorola Razr for your purposes.

Wtf is wrong with people on the price is right. Item doesn't matter but bidding went like this, in this order. It happens like this all the time.

600, 725, 800, 695

I mean really? At least two of these people are idiots.

OK, maybe using this visual joke about mind getting blown too much, but one more time is needed ...

I think people concentrate more on getting the closest price without regard to what others bid. Occasionally, #4 will get it and ask what the other bids were, and then choose $1 or (highest bid + $1).

GWAE, besides #4, who gave himself only a very tiny chance of winning, which was the other idiot?

BTW, If I were #4, I would have bid $801 (or maybe $815 to look like less of a jerk on national TV!). Contestants typically undervalue items up for bid, and the manufacturers seem to pump up their MSRP.

Well for sure #4 but even #3. Why go 75 over, 726 would have been a better choice. If the the person is doing 727, then they were going to 1 up you anyways on your 800.

You don't have a pop up keyboard on your phone?

what kind of a phone do you have now? who is your carrier?

I have a bunch of cell phone's laying around, they are probably newer than what you have... 1 or 2 years old. I can send you one assuring it's better than what you have now.

I don't know what phones can be added to what services or how all that works. I guess you can jailbreak a phone or something like that and get it to work with any carrier.

You can get a Samsung Galaxy note 4 on eBay for about $160. I highly recommended that phone.

It has a big screen, the phone is almost too big. It's basically a mini computer.

I'm not understanding what I said to blow your mind. Did I make a bad suggestion?

I wouldn't know, but that's my point! Well, if you have to explain a joke, they say that shows you made a bad one. Apologies. I know so little about smartphones that your explanation about how to use some mysterious keyboard correctly, and so on, made my head explode.
