Blaaaaahhh week at work

This week has been really lousy. I think it is a mixture of anxiety of my move, slow business, the worst tips I have had in 5 months, and extra grumpy co-workers. Sometimes I do not want to finish off my last week of work, but then I would be giving up a months rent for my apartment. All I need now is a hug and a bottle of vodka.

Well it kept getting worse. This is the first time ever since I began working 40 hours a week that I did not make at least $100 in tips for the whole week. Boo! I don't think I could get screwed at work any easier if I (censored ). Oh well one week left then I will be off on my new adventure. I barely made enough tonight to cover bridge toll. But then again the place is a ghost town so I am not surprised and I have been sent to the punishment box (they are probably upset I resigned).

Oh heck, its only one week. Stick with it, keep the job reference intact. You work at a bagel shop of some sort don't you? Well, there are some good bagel shops here and some of them have outlets inside the casinos, so if you can't work for a casino you can atleast work at one.

Light at the end of the tunnel! You are almost there, keep looking towards that light for motivation to get through the last week. It may seem time is passing slowly, but before you know it the anticipation of getting to the city of sin will take over that dread. Embrace what you are leaving however, hit up those favorite spots you have (eating, drinking, whatever) before you take off, and make the most of it. Good luck Nick
