TV - Behind the Scenes at South Point, Travel Channel 02/08/12

This looks interesting to me. I liked the show about the
Green Valley Ranch that was on a number of years ago.

Apparently this one is similar, except about the South
Point.

I'll probably set the TIVO to record it.

Here's a very funny partial synopsis of the 2nd episode:

"Meanwhile, South Point is hosting a celebrity poker tournament to raise money for First Tee, a charity that helps 45,000 underprivileged kids in Las Vegas learn valuable life skills by teaching them golf".

So far, the first episode has been 95% showing the fetish convention, 5% in the kitchen, and about 0% anything casino related. Might as well be any convention center reality show.

I watched both episodes between last night and
tonight on the ol' DVR.

It's mostly a big advertisement for South Point,
which is probably not unexpected since the
Travel Channel isn't much of a network.

But having said that, I thought it was interesting
to see a little behind the scenes, worrying
about getting the people that come for the
special events into the casino.
