My AP nowadays is to run my business, which has made my life very comfortable. After reading about a particular casino on the wizard of odds website, I caught the gambling bug over the past week and did a spur of the moment excursion to this particular casino and took a bunch of pics. I would now like to post my trip report. Can someone tell me how to post pics on this site? I fond the page with the formatting codes, but all of that is gibberish to me. Can someone give me a simple step by step explanation of how to post pics? |

There is no image uploading facility on this forum. "In my own case, when it seemed to me after a long illness that death was close at hand, I found no little solace in playing constantly at dice."

I suspect the problem is that the URL you link to is not the photo (.jpg file) but a web viewer that displays the photo. I don't know whether there is a way to refer to the file on photobucket.com rather than to the viewer. They might not make that possible because that would allow you to share your photos without giving them a chance to show their ads next to your photos. I have never used photobucket, so I'm not sure. I use my own web site to store the photos that I link to here. Your ISP probably provides you some storage space you can use for this purpose, but I don't know how to instruct you on that. |

| Doc Member since: Feb 27, 2010 Threads: 21 Posts: 2819 | That second one looks fine, so I think you have it. At least on my browser, the images come out rather large. Before you write a blog and post a bunch of these in it, you might consider the possibility that it would be difficult to read. If you are willing to go to the effort, you could duplicate the images in smaller size, so that in addition to 21a.jpg, you stored an image called 21a_small.jpg. Then in the blog you could post the small images plus links to the full-size images if that is appropriate. |
