Hi ,
I had a shift manager who was getting crazy once he will see couple of numbers on single zero roulette in the same section. i was trying to explain him that this is due to the normal volatility of the game, but he wouldn't listen. He was pushing me to go around and tell the dealers to vary the spin, my answer was that there is no such a think as to many variables will affect where the ball will drop (temperature, humidity, quality of the ball=wheel etc.) and it is eye perceptions if some varied the spin or not (the dealer will say yes I did and for him that was not truth). Please share your experience.

shift manager

Well, there's your problem. ;)

I joke, but it's not terribly uncommon. Casino personnel need not (and often do not) have an intimate understanding of math or gaming to succeed, most of the legwork has been done already. If they can follow procedure and train well, they'll do ok.

My shift manager still believes a slot that hasn't hit in a month is "due". Been in the business for a decade, too. Worse part is, this person will not even attempt to listen to an explanation, they only get loud and yell to drown out the "bad ideas" I'm trying to infect them with.

/sigh. In truth, I'd be much the same way had I not looked to improve myself (big thanks to WoV in this respect). It's frustrating, I know. Keep your head up and try not to strangle him ;)

What he worries him as most of our players are waiting for the dealer to hit in the same sector several spins in a raw, but if the patron plays the opposite numbers on the wheel than he would't say a word
