Soaring Eagle Casino offers all 3 games and for the occasional gambler looking to win what do you think would be the best game to play?
Video Poker? Blackjack? or agaisnt other players in there poker room? What game would be your best bet in winning money? This is from the perspective that someone is going to choose one and study the games ups and downs ins and out completely. He is going to try and understand the game and how to win at it completely, but i guess im at a fork in the road. What game would give me the best chance of making a profit. and does anyone know the normal amount of money you would need to bring to a texas hold em table at soaring eagle. I have never played in a real setting for money.

Poker > Video Poker > Blackjack.

As I recall, they have some close to positive VP but you would have to work the comps game to get a plus return. Their blackjack is not good, if I remember. Probably the hardest to do and the most stressful as well. The poker room there is notoriously soft. I would learn a game cold, and then try playing there. Maybe something like Omaha? (I admit to being not well versed in poker). It would also probably be the lowest stress game.

i was thinking about learning texas hold em, VP i have had decent luck with playing JoB i have had 2 royal flushes within a 6 month period and i have walked out 5 or 6 times 300 to 400 dollars up. To me pay out percentage means nothing unless you play for a long long long time. I only play 3 or 4 hours at a time. So its really up to the machine. Even if the payout percentage is above 100% the machine can be colder than some winter nights in michigan. I have sat down a few times at video poker and been dealt four of a kinds right away and sometiems i have lost 20 hands in a row.
Luck is really the main factor in winning, but thats with all things in the casino.

the blackjack there isnt too bad........you can split i believe up to 4 times, play 3 spots all at table minimum, you dont have to double table minimum to play those 3 spots, cut isnt bad around 1 1/2 out of 6 decks some times dealer will cut to a deck if you ask. dealer hits soft 17 which isnt good. But you can late surrerender, doulbe whenever and split whever you want. the rules arent that bad from waht they use to be.....least i think

do you know anythign about the poker there teddy? like table minimum/maximum etc.
