I have a lot of friends and acquaintances, mostly just acquaintances, at the casinos I visit. So I was talking today with some people about me planning a trip to Atlantic City and a few people I talked to about it were excited about the idea, staying overnight a few days. Obviously there is a way to profit doing this, but how exactly? Anyone with experience doing this, with general knowledge, etc? Booking and being paid for 30/40 people might be harder than them noncommittally saying they're interested. Ive read about such things generally, but not sure where, so can't even reference it.
I am a robot.

Total Rewards will give you free perks when you book at least 5 rooms: https://www.caesars.com/total-experiences/about So basically you can charge people more than the rooms were worth to book and thats how you would profit. Which isn't really a dick move because unless someone takes the initiative to group everyone up and plan they wouldn't get access to the perks for free.
Assume the worst, believe no one, and make your move only when you are certain that you are unbeatable or have, at worst, exceptionally good odds in your favor.

Just now have run into a lady who charters a bus-full of people to go twice a year. Will find out soon just how many are on the bus; she uses a company that does tours and this is her special deal. Everybody gets freeplay* of $20, making the round-trip cost pretty cheap at that point.

The casino website has a page on the matter, which says "Group Leaders who bring in 30 or more passengers and provide a complete Manifest will be eligible for a Bonus offer."

So everybody gets something, and the group leader something extra, it seems.

Arriving on a "line run" is mentioned, "Passengers arriving on a Line Run, or Charter with an incomplete Manifest, must complete this Registration Form to be eligible for their offer". I have to assume "line run" means by bus, but the *regular* bus? If you have a manifest and can pose as the group leader,, then ...?? You'd have to talk to them, and I assume every casino has this group tour department.

*I assume it's freeplay, a coupon of some kind
the next time Dame Fortune toys with your heart, your soul and your wallet, raise your glass and praise her thus: “Thanks for nothing, you cold-hearted, evil, damnable, nefarious, low-life, malicious monster from Hell!”   She is, after all, stone deaf. ... Arnold Snyder

I did this once, some twenty years ago, with a bar. We had commitments for 35 people. The Sands gave us a package deal where they sent a bus, gave us X amount of rooms and dinner and breakfast buffets. As group leader,my room was free and I got a $5 one time use chip for every person on the bus.
I don't remember prices, only that it was a good deal and someone else organized another trip soon after.
Of course, this was pre-meltdown ,even pre-merger . When Showboat and Ballys competed with Caesars and the Hilton and Trop. Back when the Taj was considered the Crown Jewel.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

Not sure if there are any exclusions for booking multiple rooms, but normally you get 1 tier credit and 1 reward credit per $1 spent on room reservations.

With a total rewards visa you'd get 5 RC for each $1.

Assuming that all of those rules apply and you are able to book ~20 rooms under your TR account, here is the best scenario I can come up with:

20 Rooms x $125ea = $2500

With TR Visa, $2500 x 5 = 12,500 RC + 10,000 RC signup bonus = 22,500 RC

22,500 RC is worth $112.50 in free play for Gold/Platinum, or $128.57 for Diamond.

That will also earn you 7500 Tier Credits.

Doesn't seem like a great haul for bringing that many people into the Casio, so I'd see if they have another promotion.
