Some stranger asking me if they can stick in their card is extremely annoying and instantly recognized by most people as lame. If someone says they don't care then they have no concept at all and a hustler is again taking advantage of peoples inexperience and lack of knowledge. NO person who knows what cards are for would let anyone else do it. I think the 90% is questionable.
Regardless, arguing and defending a indefensible position such as hustling is a good thing is a waste of everyone's time.

I know there were people who were annoyed wen i did it. There are also people who are annoyed at people handing out leaflets or doing street questionaires or handing out flyers. It comes with the territory. I personally moved on years ago because people sometimes were annoyed

Most women will tell u strange men talking to them are annoying especially when they think they are being cool and thr woman already knows what the deal is. Its just a facet of things the way they are

As for people not understanding the cards thats not totally true. Some didnt. Others were superstitious felt there card was bad luck some felt my card might b good luck some were worried about tax issues (stupid but i heard that often enough) some didnt like big brother tracking some didnt play enough that they wanted to b bothered dealing with the card and finally some felt the comps offered werent worth it compared to what they were losing

This was a particular hustle in my locale. I kno people in Atlantic city almost always use their cards. As i said i moved on years ago to other hustles/ap moves

If you ask the person if you can put your card in their machine and they say yes. I guess that's fine. Its not something I would encourage or consider and AP move. I would call it a hustler move like credit hustling.

One thing that might be a problem is if they do hit a jackpot with your card in they could have a hassle with the casino and the casino might think there is something fishy going on. There are some other rare scenarios that could have a negative impact on the person. Basically it's a negative free-roll for the mark.

Sneaking cards in machines before or during their play is wrong. Again it could have a negative affect on them somehow. A host might come around and interrupt them looking for the owner of the card, security might be looking for the guys putting their cards in machines. They might have superstitions about using players cards in the casinos. I have heard countless people say they dont use cards because they think the casinos use the cards to track your play and make you lose. I have never heard anyone say, put your card in, I think it's lucky. Then again, I have never asked people, but I would have to think that's fairly rare unless its some lonely old lady or something.

I can see that at a lot of casinos but this particular one never had hosts come around and jackpots were paid by voucher for the cashier - no handpays so none of those were issues

In fact it was more dangerous for the card hustler than the player as related by what happened to an associate of mine. He was playing on someone machine with his card in and went to the bathroom. When he returned he found the guy had ran out the casino a smashed terminal screen security surrounding it and his card still inside. They said he had to pay the damages even if he didnt actually smash the machine because he was in partnership with the guy. He was banned for a month until finally he forked over $1400 because he was losing so much on that play

That's really messed up. He had no idea that the guy was going to smash the machine screen as he peed. :( Valuable lesson. Take your player's card with you when you go to the bathroom..
