Playing yesterday and losing badly, dealer being totally serious says"The casino has to follow state law and can only win a certain amount from the players"
So when I started to win some of my money back dealer said see,the casino was winning too much so the computer is making sure the casino doesn't break the state law and win too much.
When I asked how they controlled this she pointed to the rating screen attached to the table and said that controls it.

Whenever a dealer is winning and you hear them making a statement about how "state law" limits how much the casino can make, get more money on the felt!

Sadly, I suspect the dealer was serious.
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

I played 1 spin of roulette and lost, then the dealer said to the other players I screwed up the flow or something like that. He was the one with the ball and he blamed me. Made me kind of mad the dealer would be so stupid like a player and point it at me. I bet $15, big deal, like it's my fault 2 came out.

The statute in Nevada limits consecutive losses at BJ by any one player to 30 hands. Even if he plays only 10 hands at each table.

IT"S THE LAW That's what a famous divorce lawyer told me.

Love when they tell me state law is that they need to scan my ID at the players club.... my line is always.... I'm a gaming attorney and that absolutely is not true-

Wow, I can't believe they say that. People are so naive. I can understand a casino not giving you a player card if you won't let them scan it, obviously that can be there rules but definitely not a law.

You would be amazed how many times casino employees cite made up bullshit gaming laws to try to get patrons to do what they want. Mostly cashiers/security when demanding ID or floor supervisors when an error is made by a dealer.

I've seen, and I'm sure others who play tables a lot have, floor supervisors in the same casino each cite gaming while coming to three different decisions about how to handle a dealer error (back up cards, burn the card, players choice, shuffle deck etc.....all citing gaming regulations.

Making up and citing bullshit laws back when you know they're lying is usually the most appropriate response. Like WoN could cite some sort of illegal privacy breach if scanning is required, probably scare the crap out of that lying $12/hr players club boothling.

Problem is, I think for a majority of them, they believe what they are saying. So if you counter their claims, they may very well just think you're making something up.

I saw a floor back up a card recently, was quite surprised since usually they say that their not allowed to.

I've seen this on multiple different games like FOUR times in the last month. This used to be unheard of and pretty much never happened. I've been in awe and shock every time I've seen it.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

I agree. The employee hears something from someone else and they assume it is true. In most cases I don't think they are lying, they are just misinformed.

On my latest trip to Vegas they backed up two face-down cards at a blackjack game where a player at first base noticed she hadn't received a first card. (Nobody had looked at their cards yet.)

When I was in line at Rivers Pittsburgh a few years ago to get one, I saw how they do it automatically. I immediately left the line.

How many casino databases have to be hacked before they stop putting players private info more at risk than it needs to be?

Thats why you just split aces on new years, act like you're high rollin in the slot high limit room, get free fast drinks and eat lobster sandwiches upstairs. Always a good time!
